Great spot! Wish I had found it sooner. I'll definitely be back!
Sadly can't say anything nice about this establishment. First off when I told the owner the website says they open at 12:00 noon he dismissed my comment. He said he was unable to make the drink that I requested. (Long Island iced tea. Then proceeded to tell us that food won't be ready for over an hour after they opened. They were rude to say the least. The man making my drink touched a trash picking device with his bare hand then proceeded to grab my lime for my drink without washing his hands. Very disappointing considering I came back after they opened at 4:00. Just so I could try the food. Needless to say we left without eating and we won't be back.
The vibes here are classic, laid-back, and unmistakably Irish. Even though I don’t drink, the drinks seem to be popular and well-made. The food is solid—especially the fried chicken, which is surprisingly good. What really sets this place apart is the atmosphere. It’s fun watching people play volleyball and cornhole while you eat. Great spot to kick back and enjoy a chill night.
The Irish Pub in on Pleasantbugh is a cozy, authentic spot that captures the heart of Irish hospitality. This long-standing pub offers a warm, relaxed atmosphere with friendly service and a well-stocked bar. The interior features classic Irish decor, including polished wood and sports memorabilia, creating a welcoming environment for all patrons. Guests can enjoy some pub staples, alongside a selection of beers and spirits. The pub also hosts live music and volleyball, adding to its lively ambiance . Whether you’re looking for a casual night out or a place to celebrate, The Irish Pub delivers an experience that keeps locals and visitors coming back. It’s a true gem in Greenville’s pub scene, offering a taste of Ireland right.
Great pub with outdoor space, friendly staff and pub fare
As EVERY regular that goes here will tell you, the owners and management are Terrible, have no sense of hospitality and they are terribly rude. If it was not for the volleyball courts this place would have been out of bussiness a long time ago.
The food was honestly awful. it was served cafeteria-style in Chinese takeout containers, which was strange to begin with. The corned beef was ice cold, and the shepherd’s pie tasted like a cheap frozen dinner. The bar itself wasn’t any better. It was dirty, and the bartenders were actually smoking cigarettes behind the bar, which is a clear health code violation. That alone was enough to put me off. I wouldn’t eat here again or recommend it to anyone. To be honest, I wouldn’t be surprised if I end up feeling sick after that meal. Just an all around terrible experience. Don’t recommend.
god tonight was my first time here and best burger i’ve had since moving down here hands down also tried a guinness and it was actually pretty good!! would recommend and i’ll be back for sure!!

Great people, great and chill place! We didn't eat, but the food others ordered smelled fantastic and was duly enjoyed by those patrons. Can't go wrong with Guinness on tap!

The staff and “regulars” were not kind people. I think this particular group of owner(s), employees and regulars are very prejudiced towards women and the disabled (and maybe a lot more kind of human beings). I personally experienced seeing The Irish Pub force a neurodivergent woman to leave after she stated she wasn’t ok to drink and drive. What did she do “wrong”? She just socialized and spoke her mind. She didn’t yell, scream, cuss or try to start a fight…nothing at all like that. It was disturbing to experience seeing a group of men treat a neurodivergent woman in this manner…..I am that neurodivergent woman.
By far the best pint of Guinness in the Upstate! Kind of a bummer that the shepherds pie is seasonal, but the pub burger more than made up for it. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in town!
