The Trappe Door was absolutely the vibes I was hoping for. The aesthetic was definitely on point. The food was good, but I wasn't blown away. The service was really good for a super busy Saturday night. Our server was named Danielle and she was very friendly and didn't mind explaining the different Belgian beers on the list. MAKE RESERVATIONS a few days ahead of time. I highly doubt you'll be able to eat there on the weekends without one. All and all I was happy with the experience and food.

Every visit has been outstanding!! Started with the wild mushrooms in puff pastry and the crispy brussel sprout salad, both were amazing. Mussels and Frites is a highlight but the Short ribs were loved as well. Finished with the lemon, three cheese crepe, which was truly a cherry on top. Great meal enjoyed by all in our party!!!

We returned to The Trappe Door because we had such a lovely meal on our last visit. If anything, this meal was better. I had the cod and frites/fish and chips. Delicious. My husband had the pork tenderloin with green beans and carrots, and it was out of this world. Truly. Possibly the best green beans and carrots we ever tasted. The pork itself was cooked perfectly, juicy and tender, and so flavorful. Special thanks to our server Jessica. Thank you!Definitely recommend. My husband and I had a truly lovely meal here, perfect for a chilly winter night. We started with old fashioneds that were traditional and perfect. With that, we tried the wild mushroom vol au vent, which cannot even be described. So delicious. Fir dinner, I ordered the moule frites (mussels and belgian fries) with a nice piece of bread in the fragrant tomato provencale broth. And it comes with 3 crazy good sauces for your frites. My husband ordered the Carbonades Flamandes, which is atraditional flemish beef stew cooked in belgian beer and served with a side salad and belgian frites.

This is a great restaurant to visit downtown. The food and service was fantastic. I highly recommend the ribeye steak and the wild mushroom appetizer. We also had the lemon crepe desert and it was great as well.

We've been wanting to try this place for years and we finally got the chance last week. We were blown away by everything. The entire menu is unique and we loved the atmosphere. I've heard from so many people that the steak frites was one of the best dishes in Greenville and it absolutely did not disappoint. One of the best NY strips I've ever had. The place was packed and we were lucky to get a couple of bar stools. Next time we'll be sure to get a reservation, but sitting at the bar was a great experience! The bartenders were friendly and extremely attentive. Awesome selection of beers on tap as well. We'll definitely be back and I can't wait to try everything on the menu!

Trappe Door is delicious!!! We go here for the besties birthday every year! We always have a great time. YOU NEED RESERVATIONS! You would be lucky to get in if you just walk up. The food is always amazing and a lot of drink options.Wheelchair accessibility: I do not think wheelchair accessible.
