My boyfriend enjoyed this meal like no other. The theming was immaculate and our server (Abby) gave straightforward excellent recommendations. I had the framboise beer which packed a delicious flavor punch. We shared the baked Brie appetizer which came encased in a delectable breaded tomb. I had the waterzooi which brought tears to my eyes with its umami buttery mind-blowing flavor. My boyfriend thoroughly enjoyed his braised short ribs. The Brussel sprouts and mashed potatoes...

Probably our fault that we had such high hopes. Our friend who owns a German restaurant up in Hendersonville recommended this place, and we love his food, so we probably had our hopes too high up.
But nah. Meatballs need salt and had this bachelor-home-cook sogginess to them. Too sweet. Fries were soggy which was an immediate deal breaker for me
