My friends and I had dinner here on a very busy Saturday evening. The service was truly excellent. Our watier was patient and warm even though he clearly had a lot of tables to serve and also waiting to be seated. The food was only okay. I ordered the Caesar salad, which was comprable to bagged grocery store salad. My son had an omlet and grits which he said was good and filling. The value for this restaurant is that the price is truly moderate for this part of town. We were able...

The restaurant was beautiful, the sweet and spicy chicken sandwich was amazing. The rosemary and Parm potatoes were good except our first one were probably the end of the bowl and got cold. The fresh ones were so different and they were amazing. It did take awhile to be seated even though there was no line. Our waiter was very sweet but the hostess and who seemed to be the manager was very short and didn't smile once. The food makes this place not the people.

Its been a go-to for us for a long time. I will say, I am disappointed they took away their boneless chicken thighs over biscuits and gravy. It was the best item on the menu. I would still highly recommend. The grits are amazing.
