Hope the owners read this. Usually a 10 but the last few times have been very subpar. After waiting in line for 10 minutes this last time and watching I know the issue with our visit. Ordered, found a seat, food came 10 minutes later. Nutella crepe with ALL the fruit. Very good. Son ate it and yet our drink still never arrived. Went downstairs said would now have to be to go. Went back up he finished eating and still no drink. Girl was bringing it up as we were leaving. Very sad. Eating a meal without what feels like $20 beverage. Back to the original part, while in line watching your “barista”. Grind the beans, weigh then scoop out a tad to toss out then put a barrier around to mix the grind then press it to then make a drink. That extra let’s call it 30 seconds per drink when specialty drinks are the majority adds 5 minutes wait time for every 10 customers when you are back to back. Leave the show out of it when you are busy and get people their orders with drinks and food together or like how we usually get it with drink first then we have to wait on the food. Just a terrible experience. This visit.
Update!
Been visiting sporadically yet frequently and this place has corrected its flaws and now has never failed to impress me.
Barista has great coffee and crepes.
But regularly messes up my orders.

We strolled by to see the Christmas tree and had very tasty hot chocolate! Nice cafe loft in an old bank. Of all food and beverage enjoyed that night the hot chocolate was the favorite.

I ordered decaf coffee beans from barista alley and having been through several months of searching for decent decaf and feeling unimpressed on average and disappointed when I spent more, but these beans are finally doing it for me. Thanks to Swiss Water Process for finding this place, I could go into more depth but I have been a coffee nerd for decades and so just know that what barista alley has going here is pretty special and deserves to be appreciated.
Great coffee!

Ordered for dine-in a latte & breakfast burrito. Food was pretty good, latte was ok, but they had to re-heat mine because it was luke warm by the time I got it. The atmosphere is the best thing about this place; it is rockin and hopping with young people and artists - love the vibe. However, it was very cold outside today and it seems like they had ZERO HEAT at all. I was there for 2 hours and I was freezing the whole time. So uncomfortable. I won't be back except to get coffee to go. Just not a great experience.

Stopped in for a cup of coffee and a smoothie with my kids. They got a pineapple-mango smoothie and I got a snickerdoodle latte. Both were delicious. Most seating is upstairs, but they have a few 2-tops downstairs. I had a small stroller and it was a little tight, so I don’t think a standard size would fit comfortably.

Excellent downtown coffee shop. Good selections as well. They have breakfast sandwiches too. Staff was kind and accommodating. Nice seating upstairs with the nice vintage windows. Perfect spot to relax or work on your computer. Good size latte with nice cup and saucer. Definitely will come back.

Super positive experience at O'neal Village this morning - Barista took the time to cater to the details of my drink, explained the flavor notes of a coffee sample, and sold me on a bag of the Chiroso blend. Been a happy customer since the original location in 2017!

Delicious coffee, and the best hot chai I've ever had! Their food and pastries are also exceptional! And all of the people working here are very sweet.
