Upstate Tour Guide

We had a great experience of a very intimate restaurant! The staff was very knowledgeable of the northern Italian menu. They were also very knowledgeable and accommodating of wines and mocktails. Great desert as well! I recommend reservations on weekends. We look forward to returning!Vegetarian options: There were options and even accommodations for vegetarian.

Exceptional dining experience with creative and delicious plates, fun cocktails, and fantastic service. My daughter surprised me with the most incredible meal I can remember ever having. From the egg yolk truffle Raviolo antipasti to the Filet Mignon entree- there was not one thing to complain about- other than the fact that we had to leave! Sydney, the cute blonde, took really great care of us. We’ll be sure to request her for next time. 10/5 stars! See you very soon, L’incanto.Dietary restrictions: Gluten dairy free options available. And they’re delicious!

I want to start by saying my wife and I was having one of the most hectic weeks of our 33 years of marriage. We were both looking forward to having a great meal and adult beverages. As soon as we entered the dining room I felt like I was in a movie. The table settings, the bar and even Carlos the owner and chef greeted us. As I was chatting him up I mentioned that my wife’s favorite meal is Veal Piccata but it wasn’t on the menu. We ordered cocktails that were expertly made and our wonderful server brought them immediately. She had wonderful suggestions for our starter and we obliged her but then she said take your time the chef is preparing your wife’s favorite meal and of course for you Sir the Veal Shank. I can’t really explain how wonderful everything was from the time we step in to the moment we left everything was amazing!!!

While the food and service are excellent the surcharge for credit cards is absurd. Increase your prices by 4% and be real.

Place smelled like Fabuloso. Food and service are excellent. Atmosphere is disjointed. I would go again but ask for the front.

We have been to L’incanto numerous times for dinner both in small and larger groups. The dining area reminds me of a north eastern style restaurant with white table cloths and close seating near the kitchen. Recently we have eaten both in the bar seating area as well as at the bar itself. Service is fantastic in all of these situations. The set menu items are wonderful and never disappoint though take note of the specials as they are always fantastic. As a New York area transplant, I have made this place a regular spot.

Lovely, lovely fine dining. Love the ambiance!!!We are on a road trip from RI to SC with my senior parents. Asia was our server. She was delightful. She was super friendly and warm. My senior mom is a vegan and often gets disgruntled staff that is usually short and unkind with her. Asia was just the opposite and was very knowledge about the menu and how they could accommodate. Anything she wasn't sure of, she checked on for us, super sweet. She also said goodbye and held door for us when we left- love love her!My dad's bolognese was amazing! I had the butternut squash ravioli and it was super yummy. It Had a bit more brown butter than needed kind of drenched in it and a dash of salt could have gone a long way but I'd order it again, super yum. My mom wanted to eat light and had a side dish of veg that was perfect for her. Kind of odd to have to order bread and pay $6 at an Italian restaurant- having said that it was SUPER GOOD! My Northern Italian dad was very pleased with the bread. It's not super common to see an upcharge for credit cards at restaurants, but I do understand it. Cool they give discount for cash payments, we wanted to leave a great tip so we didn't ask about discount. Overall great experience and I only wish y'all weren't so far from us in RI Great job!

This is a good restaurant. We have been here many times. However their policies are terrible. They tried to charge us 5% for splitting a dish. They tried to charge 4% for using a credit card. They added an automatic 20% tip.All this without telling us.They tried to say “it’s all printed on the menu”. I presume this is even true. I don’t know about you, but when I go to a nice place for dinner I don’t look for the fine contractual print for all the upcharges involved.I dine out often. This is the first place I’ve ever been that tried to upcharge for using a credit card. All of this might have been OK if they had actually told us what they were doing, but they didn’t mention anything. They just slapped all this on the bill and buyer beware. The owner thinks I was rude. The feeling is mutual. She threatened to blacklist us. Doesn’t matter to me. It’s her loss. I wouldn’t go back there anyway. We’ve recommended this restaurant to friends and acquaintances many times. I assure you this is going to stop. She can kiss my _ _ _.
