Food was great I ordered the Southwest Salad and my husband a chicken burrito. Everything was fresh and delicious. Also the churros were an excellent dessert. We did takeout, they were super quick with the meal.

Delicious food served by a friendly staff. The food is all home made. The birria tacos were tasty and tender. The salsa was great. Chimichanga was huge. Definitely go here!

What a great establishment Cactus Cantina on north Hilton Head Island is. We have stopped in several time for lunch and Margaritas and have thoroughly enjoyed each visit. The staff is very friendly, efficient , and prepare very tasty food and excellent craft cocktails. We love how crowded the Cantina gets for Happy Hour - the sign of loyal patrons and success. Cheers.

Very friendly staff, small quaint atmosphere, interesting and pretty unique menu offerings. Chicken Chimi was huge and amazing. We all got something different and everyone enjoyed their meals. I'd definitely recommend.

The shrimp chimichanga I had was incredible!!! It was loaded with shrimp and was huge!! Service was great and beer was super cold!! We will definitely be going back to this hidden gem
Very good authentic mexican food and boozy margaritas. Confusing operation to order at the counter for some things, but weight staff will come to your table for other things. Otherwise cozy little establishment. Happy hour appetizers are well worth the price.

Food is good but I wish they had a few signature margaritas that didn’t have that bottled margarita mix taste. Would love to see some signature drinks. The staff is the best. Always so friendly and welcoming!

“Did I just eat the best Chimichanga (add, carne asada), ever?”
I silently asked myself, as I lounge back in my steel chair — trying to create distance from the masterpiece I’d surely soon devour.
Well — I didn’t devour that chimichanga that night, as I promised, PROMISED my fiancé I would….
Instead, I already was half full.
Half full of Three Amigos chips, salsa, guac and queso. Because, only moments earlier, I was housing chip-after-chip of fried tortilla triangular goodness.
I should also add, my belly was filling up fast with the house margarita that turned out to be simply, delicious — sweet, tangy, and sweet, but still can taste a tinge of the tasty house tequila.
Before I return back for another bite of chimichanga, I bark out to my fiancé, “YOU SHOULD TRY THIS CHIMICHANGA”
Where she exclaims back at me, “YOU SHOULD TRY THE CHICKEN QUESADILLA, ITS SO GOOD”
Suddenly, it felt like a competition. Like, who had the best meal?
I already knew I had the best chimichanga, ever. Maybe even the best Mexican food, culinary experience, certainly on Hilton Head and probably the within 200miles.
All it would take for her is just one bite. But I could tell I’d need to use aliitle mental jujitsu to convince her. If she’d just take one bite, the chimichanga would reign supreme.
Then, I found an opening. She must have seen where the cheese had beautifully combined with the soft-orange rice, and she tells me a story about how she loves cheesy-rice.
“HEY YOU GOTTA TRY THIS RICE — ITS SO CHEESY”
Hook-line-sinker, she’s in.
She’s in deep. She’s doesn’t know it but she’s totally forgotten about her chicken-cheese-onion-peppers quesadilla. She’s all in on the chimichanga.
All I could do is sit back, and think. Oh man I’m gonna have chicken quesadillas leftover tomorrow — SCORE!! She’ll never be able to eat both.
She eats more chimichanga. I’m starting to become concerned. My chimichanga is disappearing, fast.
Goes to say… I’ll be back. Krista was great. Adolpho is a magician with the chimichanga. Great job over there Cactus Cantina crew. We’ll be back 10x.
