Old school pub

Went to eat lunch on Monday 10/14/2024, place not that busy, sat down at table. After some time waitress walked by and said do you need a menu, we said yes. We waited and waited, she just kept walking by, giving other people who sat down after us menus and took drink orders. She had more menus with her and last straw was she walked by again and ignored us. We should have reported her but we just ate some where else that waited on us as soon as we sat down.
Waitress was older lady and later that evening as we walked by again she was sitting at one of their tables smoking a cigarette, not sure you can even smoke there.

Leigh waited on us and took very good care of us. I had the 1/2 lb burger, my second time trying to eat one, the little lady had the Reuben, her second time, I gotta say there can't be a better burger in the State. Awesomeness. Oh, I ate the whole thing but did leave a few fries, my Lady brought half hers back to the condo. Lol

Evacuated to HHI from Savannah for Hurricane Helene. Went here my first night as I just needed a simple place with food and cold beer. People here are so nice. Lovely lady behind the bar and a super nice bartender as well, Dan. Had their club sandwich and homemade chips. Both were fantastic. Went back again because I liked the food and people so much. I hope I’m going home soon but I’m going to try to make at least one more stop at my new favorite pub

Brought my family here and didn't feel the most welcome. It's more of an adult place I guess. The food was very fresh.

This place feels like a throwback to the 1900s. We sat outside under an awning where we could enjoy the views and the weather. Their jam and bean soup was ALMOST as good as my mother's. It was so, so good. The homemade potato chips are as advertised. They are so, so good. They have a "heavy" hand with their drinks. And the prices, their prices are also stuck in the 1990s! Very, very reasonable. I loved it here. A must stop for anyone who's passing through.

My wife and I were looking for a good sandwich on the Island and decided to grab a to-go order. My wife got a Rueben and I got the signature roast beef sandwich with grilled onions and mushrooms. It was GREAT!! Portions were large. The price was on par for a resort town. Service was good but we ordered to-go. Great location as well. We will be going back before we leave. The food was really good ????

I was not a customer but I was sitting outside with my nephew drinking water from the Frosty Frog cups and was RUDELY told I can't be drinking at his establishment with Frosty Frog cups. I didnt realize it was a problem. We were just hot and wanted to relax a minute. The patio was totally vacant with no customers. I totally understand his not wanting us to sit there when we weren't customers. . It was his rude way of telling me. I will not be eating there and from what it appeared it didn't look like anyone else was either.

We can't tell you what the food is like. We couldn't even get our drinks. We waited for over 20 minutes for our drinks and finally we just left
