We were really excited to try this restaurant. It is right across the street from where we stayed all week. When we did finally try it it was quite a let down. We ordered a salad and lobster and shrimp Alfredo. This took a half hour to arrive at our table. The salad leaves were so large, my wife had to cut it up with a knife in order to eat it. The lobster and shrimp Alfredo was terrible. It seemed that the dish was pre-made and had older discolored lobster and shrimp and then they added three pieces of fresh lobster on top. This pre-made Alfredo costs $27. For that price there should be no pre-made. I would also expect fresh sea food being right on the beach.

Visited Hilton Head over the weekend and ate dinner at Flatbread Grill & Bar. We arrived around 6:30 pm on Sunday and the live band was in full swing. The music quality was very good which was a welcome treat. Flatbread has ample seating inside and out but with the crowds trying to get in, it took some time to be seated. Noise level was at the point where you could not have a normal conversation at the table so we just ate and enjoyed the music. Food was good (fish and chips & Shrimp Tacos). Great place near the beach!!

I was traveling for work and was not disappointed. This place may have the best tenders I’ve ever eaten, far above your average beachside food. They practically melt in your mouth. The bartender was quite nice and an attentive server. Food came out in a reasonable amount of time, and was piping hot. And I didn’t feel like I was being robbed, despite the proximity to the beach.

this is what you call “Lobster mac and cheese”…? what part of this is mac n cheese? have you ever tasted mac n cheese? have you ever SEEN mac n cheese? does this look anything or taste anything like mac n cheese? no, it doesn’t. This is pasta and it’s disgusting too!! So greasy, the sauce is broken, just a bunch of cheese all congealed and slimy..fast food mac n cheese is 1000X better than this sloppy lazy excuse of a meal.
For what reason do you charge $30 for a dish when it is so obviously low quality boxed pasta you overcooked and drowned in some pre-shredded cheese…just nasty. their profit margins must be 90% when they invest nothing in the quality of ingredients or ambience but charge a premium LOL.
Also, the lady tried her best to ignore me when i walked in and tried to ask for my order no hi no thank you no nothing…never again!

Great stop after a beach walk! The Thai chili shrimp salad and it was refreshing!! The house pizza of the month Italian with pepperonis was ok.

Overall a sweet courtyard setting with lots of outside dining was welcoming and the big fans helped keep the air moving!

Would eat here again.

Oh management the ladies room was dark. Two lights were out, creepy!!

The food and service were wonderful! The bruschetta pizza was delicious! However, the drinks were horrible. We ordered a Banana Pina Colada and Margarita. However, it was only a $5 Margarita.

Excellent meals all around!!!! Very fun and relaxing atmosphere. Jennifer (server/bartender) was slinging drinks, waiting tables and gimping around on a bum knee all with a smile on her face! Would recommend 10/10 and may return again on this trip!

Disgusting behavior by the 2 cooks behind the serving counter. No hairnets, no beard net, vaping over the food openly, one leaning over food that was cooking, take bites out of the food, the other taking food off of the food ready to be served, waiting on the counter. Leaning over the customers plate, eating their food! Constant hand to mouth contact by both cooks, never once washing their hands. Dont eat here unless you want your food half eaten and put on your plate! And no, couldn’t find a Manager, it was hard enough to find a server once we had been sat down by a hostess who forgot to tell any of the servers we were there.
