Gruby's New York Deli is an authentic New York deli with delicious sandwiches. We visited twice this week. I shared two sandwiches on our first encounter: a Roast Beef sandwich with beautifully rare meat on fresh rye and a "twin towers" sandwich with paper thin corned beef and pastrami on rye with thousand Island dressing and coleslaw. Food was amazing! Got the Mardi Gras’s sandwich. Shared a huge with my bf and it was enough to feed us both. Cole slaw is usually a hit or a miss for me but theirs was really good. Also got the Latkes and they tasted super fresh . Order came out pretty fast as well.

Wish we had found this Deli when we arrived on HHI. But happy we had an opportunity to enjoy a lunch before we head home. Can't understand the poor ratings. We had matzo ball soup, a hot cornbeef with swiss on rye and a combo cornbeef with chopped liver. Both sandwiches were excellent,what you would expect at a good Jewish Deli. Soup was tasty too. Service was good as well. Took a slice of cheese cake home glad we did. If you enjoy NY deli food you should give Gruby's a try.
