Hinchey's Chicago Bar & Grill

We stopped in after a walk in the beach as a suggestion from waiter at another restaurant. Our bartender Alisa was so friendly and the best French 75 I’ve had in weeks. Everywhere I go they make a French martini or put it in a glass with ice. Kudos to her. We split the Reuben the was generous on the meat and not to greasy. I would probably order onion rings instead. Definitely will return. Btw, liquor store next store is fantastic!

We went in to watch the Georgia game about 15 mins before the kitchen closed at 9 PM. The waitress was fantastic and so was the kitchen staff while we made our mind up about what we wanted.

The food was very good and the prices were excellent. We had appetizers. There were lots of TVs everywhere and they changed it so we can watch our game.

We love visiting when we come for our family vacation to Hilton Head. This is our number stop every time. Best wings on the island and great drinks! We love to hang out outside and enjoy some great good and great drinks! Plus they are open late!

We arrived a little after 6:00. I requested to see the Phillies playoff game and we were offered a table and a tv was changed so we could watch the game. We asked for the early dinner special and were informed it was over at 6 PM, but their information on line was listed at 6:30. They verified that information and we were offered the specials. They also have happy hour from 4-7 with some drink and appetizer discounts. The sirloin steak was very tender and cooked perfectly. The Parmesan crusted grouper was very tasty. We enjoyed the soup and beef stew and the mozzarella sticks were delicious. Everything was served hot which we both like. The bar area was more crowded than the two dining rooms. I would definitely return.

Was looking so forward to this place. Very disappointed. The “Philly Cheesesteak” hardly had any meat. The well known Chicago Italian Beef Sandwich was more like a pot roast sandwich, not typical of the namesake tender sliced beef sandwich it’s supposed to be. French fries were good, atmosphere (sports bar) good and service good. If you go, go for the atmosphere, not the food.

Found this little gem of a spot a couple of years ago and when on the island for this past Labor Day, went back a couple of times. Good food, service. Nice local hang-out spot.

It was late on a Sunday. We were on vacation and not aware of this establishment but we didn't have many options. We paid $100 for 2 ribeyes, mashed potatoes, and steamed veggies. That was all the sides options plus fries. The steak was poor quality, microwaved veggies, the potatoes were good but bland. The steak was so bland we couldn't eat it. The bread was good but was brought are our meal was half eaten. The place clearly specializes in being a bar and definitely not a restaurant. I don't recommend going for food.

Food is meh. Service was even worse - not friendly or prompt. Hostess tossed the menus on the table as she was seating another couple. Hardly saw our waitress - never got water refilled. Bathroom ceiling tiles are disgusting - and black. Cigarette smoke from the outdoor area kept coming inside. Burnt potato skins. Frozen burgers warmed up and served. think they like their locals but couldn’t care less about new visitors. Not sure why this spot seems to be so popular…it’s overpriced, low quality, and unwelcoming.
