We had the early bird special grouper dinner. It was not good. The fish was weird; soft/mushy, yet overcooked. I am not sure it was actually grouper! The rice that came with the dinner was not tasty at all and very starchy. NOTE; even though they mention the early bird specials on their website, we were not offered the early bird menu until we asked. We observed that no one else was offered this discounted menu either.

Amazing spot to get wings can’t speak for any of the other menu items. Wings have gotten smaller over the last few years but not here!

This place was recommended by family so we gave it a shot. I immediately regretted that decision. Our server Amy was clearly not interested in being there. She was rude and acted like everything we did was a bother. At the end She smacked the check down on the table rather snarky and walked away. The wings were huge but flavorless and too fatty to eat. The potato skins looked like they had sat under a heat lamp for the better part of the day. If you are looking for good bar food I would suggest looking elsewhere. This place is crazy expensive for what it is and a huge letdown.

7:00pm and no one’s in here. What’s wrong with this picture? I didn’t choose the place so I soldiered on and prepared to take one for the team. Chicago comes to Low Country. I can see the food style connection. Can’t you? At least there weren’t any pictures of the meals on the menu. I suspect nothing is made here. Everything purchased frozen from Restaurant Depot and either deep fried or microwaved. No one was injured. Child’s play. Meh!

Hinchey’s is your favorite neighborhood bar and restaurant.

Food is excellent. Bartenders personable and professional. They’re always playing great music. Tons of TVs with whatever sporting event you want to watch.

I go here all the time and have never been disappointed. Best bar food on the island. Always a good time at Hinchey’s.

We had dinner here because my husband remembered coming 15 years earlier.

We were a party of five and we know that’s a rough guest number (darn 3rd kid!) but rather than putting 2 tables together (there were at least 4 open tables available) the waitress put a 5th chair on one side of a 4 seat table. We were squished and barely had room for our plates. Waitress was very nice though!

The food was ok. Not terrible but nothing to write home about. General consensus was the fries were really good.

The place was a decent setting. Tvs on all walls. Bar looked nice as well. Bathrooms were clean.

Hinchey's has the biggest, tastiest wings I've ever had. The waitress was so nice and friendly and the sports relics and equipment of all the famous players was so cool to see on every wall.
