If I could leave 7 stars I would. Please not listen to Penny Parker she doesn’t know what she’s talking about, we had a great server but we couldn’t catch his name.

This was our second time visiting. We were very excited as we loved the food the first time we visited. But tonight will be our last time eating here. We waited over ten minutes to be greeted by our server. Then food (two simple sandwiches)took another 20 minutes or more to come out. The entire time we waited, not once did the server come back and ask if we needed a drink refill and as what seemed to be the owner and his family sat around and did not help at all with food getting out to customers. While two other employees sat around and gossiped, instead of working. Once we did get our food, I will say my husband enjoyed his Reuben, but the Cheese Steak Sandwich was almost inedible.

We absolutely loved this restaurant. Portions were huge, food was great and so many things to look at. Pictures, sports memorabilia and plenty of tv’s. Unfortunately I forgot our servers name but he was super friendly and on top of things at the table.

Three of us on vacation for the week searching for fun places to visit!
A chill sports bar and grill atmosphere, darker cozier lighting, but not cramped.
Decent sized bar, as well as dining area, and wonderful service and some other bar recommendations from the man in the ‘rotten’ hat at the bar, who says it gets a little more rowdy towards the late hours.
Recommend to anyone looking for a more hometown bar feel away from the touristy stuff.

We waited a half hour and our order still had not arrived..All we ordered was soup, salad, wings, and garlic cheese bread. You would have thought they could have at least made a salad in that time.

I don’t drink but we are out of town and wanted late night food!! This is THE place for wings since they start a late night menu at 10:30pm.

Our bartender Cliff was so kind and helpful despite being super busy the entire time we were there. He literally never stopped moving but made it look effortless. 10/10 for service.

The garlic parm wings and toasted ravioli are so yummy!!

Came in on a Sunday evening - 8 of us with possibly 6 more joining us to watch the Pistons game called ahead and told yes it would be on. Arrived and bartender leaning against back wall just stared at us. Turned away. Waited and waited to find a waitress to seat us in the middle section of the place - room next to the bar. There were 2 tables each of 6-8 people. We were set at a round table UNDER the large TV and waitress agreed we could pull it out and add another table. The other patrons immediately engaged with all of us - excited to cheer for the Pistons as well! Really a good feeling and very congenial people. Large TV the game on and we asked for sound because of course we want to hear the game?!?! Waitress seems scared and says “no… “ We are all puzzled and ask why not and can she ask someone - as our son went to go ask the bartender. Waitress walks away, son returns and says “yeah so I asked the bartender and it was a solid stern NO.” All of us in the room were truly puzzled as the rudeness and inhospitable atmosphere. Another waitress came out and started trying to put on the sound but it was clearly with great hostility and sound only on the large tv - super quiet. She put the volume at about 1/4 of the volume so if we all held our breath and remained silent we might catch a word here or there. We all laughed and said okay then….. got up and put the table/chairs back and wished the two other tables a nice night as they all cracked up at the MIC DROP. Told them to meet us at Callahans. We left. Went down the street and despaired over the game but drowned our sorrows in drinks and games and pool - along with the other guests who left Hinchey’s. Haha! Our tab was over $1000. We used to enjoy Hincheys from our annual island visits for years. Good food and usually welcoming. We likely will never return after this weird evening there.
