Great atmosphere and vibe. Service was exceptional, entire staff was genuinely happy, efficient and attentive. Our food came out quickly. We got all rolls for dinner which were average to above average depending on which roll. This will be our go to for Japanese food. We had a great experience.
A little noisey but everything else was great.....early bird...a lot of food but all tasty
We are honeymooning and felt sushi for dinner. :) From the reviews and pictures, this place obviously caught our attention. Our server was, of course, our first impression and she was very rude, blunt, and inconsiderate. But oh well, the ambiance was lovely and the restaurant itself was professional and romantic seeming. But then the $16 lychee cocktail arrived and it tasted of straight vodka mixed with chemical water and we couldn’t even bring ourselves to finish it for our money’s worth. The service was shockingly slow especially with not many customers in the restaurant, but I understand restaurant business, since my family owns one, and I know kitchens can get backed up and the servers can’t do anything about it. It doesn’t hurt to be kind and polite though.
Anyway, the next arriving yellowtail appetizer was so thinly sliced it disintegrated off our chop sticks. My husband was ready to call off the dinner order, pay and leave at this point, but I encouraged we still give them a chance. That was my mistake. We paid $63 total for 6 average tasting rolls and a non drinkable cocktail. I don’t understand how our experience was so terrible compared to other’s, since we chose the place based on its positive reviews… Nevertheless, we were so disappointed in this sushi restaurant, especially as two young adults enjoying a honeymoon

Hilton Head is crowded and very touristy, especially during peak season, there’s no way around it.
Came here thinking it would be a nice quiet, more traditional Japanese sushi spot to bring my date, but I think the quiet and tradition got worn down by the years of typical tourist coming in and asking for a fork instead of chopsticks…(there was a single fork at the table when we sat down.) They had a crowd and maybe they sat one or two more tables in the space they had to churn some more profit, so that meant the space was a little tight and noisy.
Thankfully, what hadn’t worn down was the sushi. My wife and I had the sashimi appetizer, uni, toro, different rolls; all of which I’d recommend and eat again except the sashimi.
The fiesta roll I think it was called was a fun one with cilantro and guac on it. The rice was perfect, exactly what I’m looking for in sushi rice.
Will be back again.

Never had so many back to back rude interactions from server, bartender, and especially the host. Genuinely just pathetic people

A very nice 1st experience. Service, atmosphere & food were great. Prices a bit higher than expected but that pretty much expected everywhere on Hilton Head.

I have been coming here for many years and never taken the time to rate this wonderful place. I first came here over 10 years ago and was VERY new to sushi in general. The sushi chef let me try several things, and I began to love sushi and various other dishes served here. I brought a friend with me today which was her first visit, and the more she raved about the quality and delicious food the more I realized how lucky I am to have this true delicacy on the island. I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant. The tuna carpaccio is hands down the best I've ever eaten and my favorite item on the menu.

Okay, this place is seriously so delicious. My husband and I came here tonight spontaneously and I loved the sushi!!! We had the surf and turf roll, fire island roll, and lobster roll!! 10/10 would recommend (and I’m picky with restaurants) chef knows what he’s doing!!
