I got E. Coli poisoning shortly after eating here July 2025. Sushi was tasty but genuinely destroyed my stomach for 2 months.

I run a fish company in Dallas Taxas, and the quality of fish used here is at the lowest level. We only handle frozen fish, and many customers have no idea about the quality of the fish, so we can't complain, right? If I do business like this, I could close this place if I do the same business here.

My daughter looks forward to dining here every time we vacation in Hilton Head! Plentiful vegetarian selections, all were very good.

Hinoki. Jeovana was amazing and we had an exceptional experience!!! We had 2 apps the Dragon egg and pan fried dumplings. Both apps were so yummy!!! The sushi is phenomenal. Jeovana was the star of the show even though the food was amazing. Her personality and smile was contagious and made us feel extremely welcomed. If you have never had Hinoki you are missing out!!! P.S been a local since 2007.

Best Authentic Japanese Restaurant in Hilton head island, great Diverse menu Great drinks and wine offerings And the sushi made by Chef Chichi and Chef Teru are done traditional Japanese style. with offerings from OToro, Japanese Uni plus a great selection of Hosomaki Rolls as well as others with delicious toppings. Is my first stop when I'm on Hilton head.

I’ve eaten all types of sushi and even I was impressed. My mom doesn’t like sushi but she got a chicken teriyaki meal and she really liked it. 100 Stars.🤩

Incredible sushi and service. Very appreciative to have such an authentic, Japanese restaurant on this beautiful island. Will be back soon and WILL order the heritage roll once again.

Really great food and service. Multiple people came around filling our water glasses. It was very busy but the server was great and food was quick. We had Ramen (full and half portions), a ton of sushi, gyoza, edamame, and 2 kids chicken tempura meals with fries rice. (6 people, we shared a lot!). Definitely would eat again. The Wizard Roll was my absolute favorite.

With so many great reviews I was shocked at how awful this place was. We didn’t get sushi so maybe that is what they do best. The rice was mushy, the chicken and shrimp had zero flavor. Even the “yummy” sauce was tasteless. The mixed drink I got tasted watered down and you could tell the ginger beer they used was cheap. We were a party of 6 and everyone felt the same. Our waitress was friendly and did a great job.
