A terrific neighborhood gem sorely needed in north Hilton Head serving reliably good comfort food. Staff are welcoming and congenial. The chef makes his rounds to the tables to ensure everyone was pleased with their dishes. Bread served with dipping oil infused with garlic cloves is a great way to begin the meal. Though I prefer the sweetness of BBQ & ketchup on my meatloaf, I did enjoy the mushroom gravy that came with the meatloaf and the accompanying mashed potatoes. Th...

Our table of 3 had mixed reviews on the food. I liked my entree of shrimp & grits... creamy grits and well-spiced and cooked perfectly shrimp. My husband, however, had the Prime Rib and it was dry and overcooked. He should have sent it back but did not. My mother-in-law had a coupe of appetizers and was happy with both. The owner is super sweet and the server excellent as well.
