If you’re looking for a spot on the island that actually gets NYC- style pizza right, New York City Pizza is a must-visit. Conveniently located right next to the Publix at Festival Centre (45 Pembroke Dr.), it completely delivers.

The service here is stellar and the atmosphere is incredibly welcoming. The manager, Mandy, does an amazing job making everyone feel right at home the moment they walk in.

As for the food—it’s outstanding across the board. The Philly cheesesteak was delicious and packed with flavor, and the pizza is absolutely spot-on. It features the perfect crust, excellently seasoned sauce, and that authentic New York slice flavor that is usually impossible to find outside the tri-state area.

We will definitely be regulars here.

As a ex New Yorker I am calling on this restaurant to remove NYC from their name. The pizza is pathetic. Limp, no cheese, no sauce, nothing. Worse pizza on the island by far.

We walked in and the restaurant was dead, I think two tables had customers. One staff said we could seat ourselves, brought us menus and said our server would come to get our drinks. Nobody came over for 10 minutes. We just left.

Ignore the bad reviews, the food is really good and everybody who works here is incredibly kind and accommodating. Some of the best pizza around ❤️❤️❤️

We live near by
We have gone to NYCP 4x this year and each time it’s never improved
Last night we ordered pizza to go at dinner time
The pizza did not looked cooked, the place was empty and trying to pay I had to ask 3 people.
My wife who will eat anything even said the pizza was not good.
We will not be returning for awhile
Sorry New York Pizza we threw out what we did not try to eat.

The bar tender Bryan is amazing!! The drinks and food are amazing!!!

We were told that they took Spinnaker dining vouchers and we showed the server 3 of them. They never once mentioned that they only took one unlike all of the other restaurants we have been to. We had bought $75 worth of food to use up all of our dining vouchers being it was our last day here and then got stuck with a $50 bill. We won't be back and will let everyone know that we can about this place

We were told we could use Spinnaker dining coupons and showed the server that we had 3. This was our last night so we wanted to use them all. After we ordered $75 worth of food they proceeded to tell us we could only use one so we got stuck paying $50. That was really poor business and will let everyone we can know. We will not be back.

Very disappointed we were told we could use dining vouchers from Spinnaker, by the server. We showed him we had three. He said “Yes you can.”
So we ordered $75 worth of food. After meal, bartender/manager said we could only use one. So, we’re out $50 plus tip! We will be sure to share this information with Spinnaker! Won’t be back!

My wife and I are Jersey Shore natives and stopped in for a couple slices of plain (cheese). Overall, this New York style pizza is excellent. The taste was a perfect blend of flavorful sauce, quality mozzarella cheese, and seasoning. The crust was also very tasty and somewhat crispy. The cornicione (edge crust) could be a bit smaller but otherwise, satisfactory. My only suggestion for improvement was that when folded, the crust did not crackle. So if one wants truly authentic New York style, ask for the bottom crust to be very well done, even blistered.
