Everything about this place other than the sausage was great! Joanne was amazing and kept the coffee flowing, she made sure we were very well taken care of. The pancakes were delicious, the food was cooked perfect and the grits were the best I've had on the island. Can't wait to come back! Also...The coffee cups are really nice and we purchased one to take home.

The food was good and had large portions. The service was kind of slow considering there wasn’t many people there at the time. The lady waiting on us seemed annoyed when we asked for refills and butter for the pancakes.

Im leaving a 2 star review based only on the atmosphere. We ordered lunch at exactly 11:30. I ordered the Ribeye cooked medium. It came out well done and no seasoning. My wife got the blackened or should I rather say salted, grouper. The green beans tasted straight out of a can, the squash and onions had enough oil to clog every artery and the collards tasted like leaves. I had better food from an MRE in the Army. I came here a year ago for breakfast and the quality has gone downhill. They should've paid me to eat it instead. Dont waste your money here. They should stick to breakfast instead unless its anything like the lunch I just experienced.

Used to love going here for breakfast. Not sure if they are under new ownership. Went for lunch and it was horrible. Might as well have dumped food straight from a can onto the plate. The green beans were canned, gross, and had no seasoning, collards were bland, the squash and onion were undercooked and oily. The only thing they seasoned was the grouper which was way too salty. My husband ordered a ribeye medium and it came out well done with no seasoning. Waffle House would have been 10x better. Our waitress barely spoke english and was not attentive. General atmosphere is nice, food is awful. Save your money.

Our party of six had the chicken fried steak, traditional eggs, Benedict, several waffles, French toast, and the Homestead breakfast. Everything was good!

Absolutely horrible service with long wait times. Came in and there were two other tables besides us. Waited 45minutes for our food - watched an employee get their food before us. Wouldn't recommend. There are much better options in this area.

It is a home town breakfast, brunch sit down restaurant. Great food, all 3 of us ordered the True Country Breakfast, which comes with a lot of food and added coffee to top it off. All was delicious. Would recommend to anyone looking for a great breakfast at a great price.

Perfect breakfast atmosphere.
We were seated immediately and greeted right away by our server. She was ready to answer our questions about the menu. Food was as good as advertised.
I recommend hash browns with any breakfast and the pancakes are HUGE with a taste to match.

This place is a hidden gem! Wish we would have tried it when we first arrived. The food is amazing! I got hash & eggs and hubby got ckn fried steak- delicious. Reasonable priced too. 👌👍

We enjoyed our breakfast. Biscuits are amazing. My omelet was delicious and the home fries are seasoned to perfection. Pancakes are generously sized and the bacon was cooked perfectly.
