Pomodori Italian Eatery

We just ordered from pomodori too for the first time. I placed the order online. Got a call instantly to go over any allergy concerns as I ordered GF pasta. Great caring service! The food was ready in minutes! Meat lasagna and kids chicken Parmesan with veggies and kids GF penne and meatball. Great service excellent food. Love the fresh baked bread. Large portions also! Even our new puppy loved the chicken Parm and veg! She loves fresh healthy ingredients! Blondie approves! 5 stars! Can’t wait to order from this local restaurant again!

Fantastic. I now know why it's so difficult to get a reservation. Absolutely everything exceeded expectation. We enjoyed Kale salad Meatball Scallop in vodka sauce Lasagna Lemon pie (new menu item) If we were local, we would be regular customers. Plan ahead & make a reservation !

I always love the gnocchi with tomato sauce. It never disappoints. The pear salad was very flavorful with generous chunks of pear. We also ordered the short rib with pasta. Excellent.

We walked in without a reservation at 5pm when opened. Hostess seated us saying they had someone reserved for 630pm. We told her we wouldn't dilly dally. We were very appreciative. Food, service, atmosphere was perfect!! I can't wait to go back next time we are in Hilton Head.

Wonderful service by our server Sam, excellent food, good wine, nice atmosphere, definitely a 5 star experience on Hilton Head Island. The Cannolis were awesome too. Our one and only complaint, how in the world does a restaurant of this caliber not have hot tea as an option for dessert? I was absolutely stunned to the point that I had to ask twice to make sure there was not a misunderstanding. Not everyone likes coffee, some prefer tea! Seriously add a 10 cent teabag to the dessert options for god's sake!

We dine at Pomodori regularly and have NEVER experienced a less than five-star rating ... tonight we had the absolute pleasure of having Stephanie as our sever. She was such a delight ... professional .. courteous .. warm and friendly ... everything tonight was perfect as always.

The food is exceptional. I wish the serving was more moderate. It is just too large. I would happily pay the same for half the food. It's overwhelming to see that huge plate of food placed in front of you.

Orecchiette with sausage is flavorful and so scrumptious! Chicken Parm and Shrimp parm were also delicious. Pomodori's makes a fresh, tasty homemade sauce. This restaurant is one of my favorites on the island.

The restaurant is small and too close for me. I had a shrimp and angel hair dish with too much preserved lemon. I picked it out of the dish as best I could without a spoon. The lemon overpowered the shrimp and the sauce and the pasta. There was a lot of shrimp in the dish. The dessert options are limited to three choices. The bar is Limited to just wine and beer. My husband's chicken parm was better than my selection. This was our second and last visit to the restaurant.

The food at Pomodori is always exceptional. It's our favorite restaurant in HHI and it never disappoints. The service is always great. They use bussers which makes such a difference. The younger kids doing this are always so professional and never intrusive. Our waitress was amazing too. So knowledgeable with such a fun and friendly personality. Enjoyable meal all around!

Lighter than clouds.. pillows of perfection… that is how I can describe the gnocchi!!!

We had veal parm, gnocchi, bolongse, and lasagna. Lasagna hands down. Service was excellent and the food came out hot. Make a reservation several weeks in advance but so worth it.

I had wanted to try this restaurant since last year when we were in HH after reading great reviews about it. Good news is that they had reasonable priced wines although not a huge selection. The bruschetta had way too many onions, it was large but came with only 4 small pieces of toasted baguette. Should have had more. My Veal Masala was very mediocre. The food came out extremely fast leading me to believe that the veal had been precooked and warmed. It was definitely over cooked and the pasta and sauce were tasteless. My husband had Tagiatelle Con Bolognese which he loves. Thought it was ok but definitely not the best he has ever had and he has had it a lot in other locations. Perhaps I ordered the wrong dish but each dish should be excellent. Before you ask, I love Italian food and have been fortunate enough to have enjoyed it in many major cities in the US and in Italy so I do know what excellent Italian food taste like. When I inquired about the Tiramisu which I love, what I was told turned me off to ordering. It seems a lot of people like this restaurant and I am happy for the owners and wish you continued success but I will never come back because there are much better Italian restaurants here in Hilton Head.
