Dinner is a bit pricey compared to other Thai restaurants I’ve visited, including those in other tourist areas. That said, the entrees we had were good. However, I would recommend skipping dessert, the cheesecake felt overpriced for what was served. The slice was quite small (smaller than my palm) and was frozen and icy in the center.

My Tom Kha soup only lasted seconds, so no pics. The coconut is very pronounced, to my preference, and the spices exploded with flavor. I also had the red curry which was phenomenal.
My wife had the pad thai. I don't generally care for it, but knowing my palate she insisted that I try it. Oh my goodness! 🤤 I am now a fan.
Our party had equally complimentary thoughts about the drunken noodles, thai tea, matcha latte and mango sticky rice (seriously addictive).

We’re visiting Hilton Head from Charleston and had an outstanding experience at Ruan Thai Cuisine. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt warm and inviting, and the service was genuinely friendly without being overbearing. The food was the real highlight—fresh, beautifully presented, and packed with authentic flavor. Every dish we tried struck a perfect balance of spice and richness, and you can tell a lot of care goes into the preparation. Everything from appetizer to entrees came out promptly and tasted incredible. It’s clear this place takes pride in both quality and hospitality. If you’re in Hilton Head and craving Thai food, this spot is absolutely worth a visit. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in town.

What a sweet dining experience. Our server was Junior and he had the most welcoming and knowledgeable way about him. The food was amazing - we enjoyed spring rolls, dumplings, pad thai, sizzling beef, pad see ew, and Thai fried rice with beef and vegetables. The atmosphere was relaxing and we were not rushed thru our meals. You won't be disappointed.

Delicious food and excellent service..was suprised it was empty
I am usually a steak and potatoes guy, but this has become one of my favorite places. Mainly because of family members who appreciate good Thai food and keep bringing me here. I have finally settled on the chicken fried Thai rice, medium, and have to admit it is really, really good. Lunch is less expensive and comes with a very good spring roll. Give it a shot - you will be glad you did!
