My husband and I always visit the Sage Room when we're in Hilton Head. It's in an unassuming spot and can be difficult to find if you've never been there. It's worth the hunt! Fabulous food, service, and atmosphere. If you can, make reservations for the Chef's Table and watch the magic in the open kitchen. These chef's are amazing to watch! Last night was our first time dining at the Sage Room after all these years of wanting to go there. We were celebrating my birthday. We told the hostess this before we arrived when we arrived and still the waitress had no knowledge of this when we sat down. We let the waitress know it was my birthday. The food came out quickly initially, but the shrimp was not very good and the French onion soup that we were so looking forward to was not as good as expected .

I had my first dining experience here August 2025. The food and drinks are excellent. What a great place for a romantic dinner or nice evening out with friends. We sat at the Chef's counter, which we enjoyed, but would have preferred the attentiveness of a server for this caliber of meal at a table. I got the pork chop and my wife got the Sea bass.
