Our experience, unfortunately, was not a good one despite having a great waitress who did her best.
We visited yesterday and ordered the prime rib special, requesting it medium rare. The cook came out to let us know that only end pieces remained, which would be more of a medium cook. While not ideal, we appreciated the communication and agreed to proceed. However, what was brought out was not medium it was extremely well done and difficult to even cut.

We have been coming to HHI for the last 10 years and Skillets would be our go to for an early breakfast before heading to the beach. We love the potatoes! Unfortunately our last two trips to Skillets (September 2023 and May 2025) has not been the same as earlier trips, notably the service has been terrible. Skillets is absolutely amazing! From the food to the beautiful ambience. Our waitress Marilyn was so kind and attentive. I had the Mahi tacos. They were the best I've ever had. There chef Keman cooked everything to perfection. All of the toppings were homemade. Love that place!
