What a great find! Tucked away on HHI, we were glad to find this hidden gem. Very fresh seafood, and some unique varieties. The owners helped us pick out some fish we had never tried (wreck fish) with recommendations on how to prepare it. They were patient with us as we asked questions, and gave great assistance to help us build a good meal. Clean market. I don't want to recommend so nobody else finds out about this place!
This is a super cute, well planned shop with everything you need for an on the fly shrimp or low country boil. They have small portions of potatoes, corn, and seasonings available so that you don’t have to haul from home or buy more than you need in a regular grocery store. They even rent huge stock pots! We were looking for fresh fish to grill while vacationing in HH & saw the Google reviews for this market. It is indeed very fresh, great tasting seafood! We also loved that the shop had other grocery items. Loved the fresh potatoes and garlic that we grilled for a side as well.Everything was very reasonably priced!We intended to shop again before we left town to bring some home, but they were not open yet for the day.We will definitely plan to shop again on our next trip!
