A friend told me about this gem! We had Potato Pancakes with sourcream for our appetizer, shared Cabbage Rolls then each ordered dessert. I enjoyed Baklava Cheesecake, a BIG yum! Kelsey had Crepes with Farmer's Cheese-delicious! The service was friendly and efficient. The atmosphere was wonderful. I'll visit again!

Simply delightful! We had cabbage rolls, crepes with sweet farmer's cheese, and baklava cheesecake, and everything was superb, full of flavor without being too salty or sweet. The server was so kind and attentive and seemed delighted that we loved the food. I will definitely be coming back!

Such a cozy spot! The food and service was wonderful. They are very kind! We were visiting from Greenville, SC, and plan to absolutely come back for this spot!

This was the best by far we’ve had for the week. Everything is so authentic. Nothing short of epic! Charcuterie and cucumber salad are off the charts.

Reminiscent of 1960s Vienna restaurants. Amazing schnitzel and Hungarian sour cherry, cold soup appetizer. Large selection of European beers including Hungarian, German, and Czech among others. Great menu selection featuring Hungarian, Austrian and German entrees.

The stuffed cabbage was dry, overcooked, charred and couldn’t cut it with a knife. Had maybe 1/4 teaspoon of sour cream topping and hardly no cabbage leaves. Chicken cordon blue was burnt around the edges. Very disappointing and do not recommend spending such an exorbitant amount of money for substandard food. There was only one server available for the entire restaurant and he was very pleasant and did the best he could.

Excellent food and service

This place is absolutely incredible. The atmosphere is so warm and comforting, and it gives a “grandma’s kitchen” kind of vibe. You can hear the owner in the kitchen making the food for each dish from scratch, and it’s family owned so it really gives such a wholesome feeling to eat here (on top of the food tasting fantastic). 10/10 recommend, you cannot skip this place on your trip to HHI! We will definitely be returning if/when we come back to visit.

The food was delicious! The service was friendly and very helpful in ordering Hungarian cuisine. We had the goulash with schnitzel which was cubes of tender steak a flavorful gravy and fresh housemate schnitzel. For dessert we had chocolate hazelnut crepes that were also delicious. We would go back to try more items from their menu!

We went to this place on our honeymoon. We had the best meal of our lives here! The service and vibe were one of a kind. The bread pudding for dessert was so flavorful and unlike cheap grocery store imitations. Great wine and cultural atmosphere! I hope they stick to their roots. This is a must visit in the area.

delicious food. tasty desserts. we sat in the bar area (Richie's cave). fun fun fun karaoke night! from 7pm till closing. we were there Friday March 20th. amazingly friendly bartenders and waitstaff.
