Food and service are okay, prices are okay with the exception of drinks, which are over priced. It is the location that keeps me coming back.

Oh the chefs! They cook outside and are fun to listen to. And, cooked up the best chicken I have ever had in my life. Waitstaff was great and view is fantastic.

What a fantastic meal!! We stopped in while on the beach for a walk. The food, service and views were all stellar. April C. was so great. We appreciate the great service she provided...so friendly, attentive and simply perfect. Definitely recommend the chicken nachos. The chicken was cooked so well. We will be back for sure!

The bartender took advantage of my unsuspecting wife. She ordered two taco dinners and a beer to go. He
did not provide a detailed bill. Just a total line bill to sign. Roughly a $3 - $3.50 overcharge. Unethical.

great place on the beach. we rode our bikes down the beach and stopped here. it was so nice that they bring you a pitcher of ice water. we must of hit it at the right time. as soon as lunch hit there was a long line. we had a great view from our table. our waiter checked on us several times. someone else brought our food out so you know it's not sitting. the fresh fruit with your sandwich was nice and it was fresh.

The Dune House always delivers. I had the blackened mahi mahi sandwich, which was delicious. The wait staff was very busy but still very attentive.

Parking: They replaced the all gravel road with designated parking spots along a now paved road.

Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp to the beach, but I did not see a way to easily get from the ramp to the deck where the majority of the tables are.

Been coming for years never had a problem till today 9-15-24. Came to have a meal before we left to go home, little cloudy and mist here and there, so I asked can we sit anywhere and the bartender said yes no prob. So we sat and then the server who I never seen before came over and gave us attitude and mist had said something when he went back inside because everyone inside started staring and talking about us which was obvious. Then I heard the bartender say we'll ill serve them if you don't want to but then they served us anyways. They won't have our business anymore. Only reason stay because the girl wanted to eat otherwise we would be gone.

"The Dune House in Shelter Cove, right on the beach in Palmetto Dunes, is a gem! I grabbed a sweet tea—delicious!—and couldn't resist picking up a T-shirt because the vibe here is just that cool. It’s a perfect spot to hang out on the beach. No need to pack lunch—you can eat under the umbrellas while your food is grilled right in front of you. There’s also a bar area under the shade, complete with fans, where the bartenders are super friendly. On our first visit, we enjoyed a well-cooked hamburger for lunch. Definitely a spot we’ll keep coming back to!"
