A line to get in, even in the off season - yep. Simple, plain dining room or picnic table outside - yep. Fantastic fried seafood - yep, yep, yep! I'm giving them 5 stars in spite of the cole slaw being too sweet and the green beans too salty for my taste... The popcorn shrimp and crab cakes were excellent - definitely a cut above. My companions felt the same way about their choices. Collectively we can vouch for the oysters, shrimp and scallops, as well as the fish and chips along with my entry mentioned above. Just don't be in a hurry to order & be seated. Once you order, your food will be out & on your table super quick.

Quirky setup but it's the real deal. Flat top grille and they actually use seasoning. Seafood seems fresh.

10/10. Just go. You can tell they have a good system in place and were very efficient. We were seated promptly even though there was a line. The woman at the counter was so kind, and patient as we tried to figure out what to order, despite it being busy. The food was phenomenal. Every bite was perfect. We got a lobster roll and a platter to share. Tried field peas for the first time and could have cried they were so good.

Well worth the wait. Expect a long line for the Sea Shack at dinner time. The outstanding food explains why there is a wait. The menu has plenty of the typical offerings so something for everyone. They execute each of the dishes really well from lobster to fried shrimp.

Casual and great options/combos. Busy place but food came out hot and fast. Everything was really good and flavorful. If I had more time here I’d come back everyday.
