“Towne Tavern is our favorite local watering hole! The staff are super friendly and make the place, especially Amanda and Andie. The daily specials and bingo/music bingo give something fun to do. I work from home so getting out of the house for fun and hanging out with the locals is what it’s all about. We’ve been coming to the place for a while and think the food has been so much better under new management. Definitely check it out if you haven’t been!“

“We have been here several times. We enjoy the outdoor seating when it is warm. Today Amanda served us. She was excellent. The food was great. My wife had the BBQ, which is always yummy. I tried the create your own pizza today and was very satisfied. Our son had grilled chicken. We will definitely be back.“

“I typically enjoy the food. Fish always good. I have to tell them every time to fix my tenderloin tip veggies soft or they will be practically raw. My main complaint is Shika the girl who answers the phone to take your order has a getto attitude problem!!!! Why is she answering the phone? I do not understand because as the first contact she is not friendly but just rude!“

“My daughter had her first prom this past weekend. I live out of state but I wanted to make sure her night was special. I spoke with Lynn Allen (general manager) she walked me thru buying a gift card and I was able to surprise my daughter and her date with dinner covered. Lynn (and the hostess I spoke with) were so friendly and helpful! My daughter said her dinner was amazing and can’t wait to visit again! “The fish and chips I had here were pretty exceptional for an unassuming-looking American restaurant. Fish was fried well and was crispy. Needed more salt. But the medallion-style fries were unironically the best fries I've had outside my kitchen. Perfectly crispy exterior, soft interior, seasoned with Lawry's, and came out piping hot.

Even the slaw-- which is never good-- WAS good.

Will definitely be back just for those fries.“

“We stopped for dinner with 4 young kids after traveling in the car all day. They were fantastic and accommodating even though most people wouldn't bring their kids! The food was phenomenal and prices were great. Thank you for a great experience!“
