“Wonderful! Lowkey, casual spot with delicious food. We had sushi and boba milk tea. The $5 sushi specials far exceeded expectations! And other sushi rolls were also delicious! We will keep this in our list for when we travel between here and the coast.“

“Been to the restaurant 3+ times. First time on Mother's day. Place is nice and spacious. Parking lot is large. The staff is so good, attentive, knowledgeable even on the busy day of a holiday. Menu choices are abundant and you can ask and to modify some of your choices. You can also order takeout. Highly recommend.“

“Birthday celebration for my wife at MGrille could not have been better!

We held a celebration for my wife’s 75th birthday at MGrille, with about 30 friends. Michelle Wang was wonderful for us to work with in designing the menu and arranging the venue. The food was everything we could have hoped for, Michelle made special accommodations for vegetarians and everything was delicious. The food was kept warm in chafing dishes during the first hour of the party, while we mingled and chatted. When the group was ready to eat, the tops of the chafing dished were removed and folks filled their plates … the food was delicious and perfect for serving. Everyone commented about how great the food was, the two cocktails we picked out for the party were enthusiastically enjoyed and there were also three choices for nonalcoholic drinks. We also greatly appreciate Michelle’s wonderful staff for the party - Leo, Kyle, Payton and Frank, thanks again! The venue was comfortable and generously sized. The baby grand piano was great for the occasion (and thank you to Bert Ligon, a delightful pianist). We are so thankful to Michelle for making this important milestone celebration so perfect, easy for us and special! 👏🥂“

“Tsunami is a good restaurant with a fairly large menu. There are various unique sushi role choices and other options (such as noodles and chicken) for anyone not wanting sushi. The food was good (and well priced) and our waiter was nice, but the food took a substantial amount of time to arrive to the table. Also, we made a reservation, and showed up exactly on time, however, we still had to wait 10 minutes to be seated. Sometimes parking can be a hassle since Tsunami shares a lot with multiple other businesses, but if you loop around a time or two, a spot will usually open up.“

“What! As a patron way back in the Food Lion strip mall days, this was hands down the best buffet in town, & sad when they closed. I watched when they broke ground on this new location. I couldn't be the first to enjoy since now I have an autistic child of habit, new isn't easy for us. Using my Super Mama powers, we went for lunch on his birthday in January. I do not have enough room on here to describe the ambiance, cleanliness, kindness, etc... Lucas & I will NOT EVER eat out anywhere else, not even fast food joints kids are attracted to. You get your own hibachi chef, sushi buffet with chef, "traditional" American foods, full salad bar, bars full of Chinese & Chinese-American foods, soups, desserts, superior service, a really undescribable without experiencing for yourself just daily lunch. So much deliciousness to even attempt to enjoy in a 2-hour visit for the price of chicken nuggets, fries, drink, & shake at fast food joints! If the lunch is mind (gut) blowing, supper must be out of this world! Soon. I have to judge many places by staff because of my son, who not only rolled out the red carpet for him/us, but innumerable amounts of other-abled folks, which is important to me. I have traveled & eaten at many places. I now have built-in ADA EYE. My eyes have never, ever, laid eyes on wait staff, or owners, who help a blind person or someone in a wheelchair get tabled and then helped with food selections, plating, and seated to enjoy. Care, respect, not enough words for this either. I have heard the owners waited 15+ years, raising $1,000,000 to create a dream for themselves and their patrons. Where in Columbia, Lexington, Orangeburg, Sumter, Charlotte, Augusta, Greenville, Charleston, Atlanta, and so on, can you get the same? Send me a Gmail & we will talk! “Called in a to-go order, and they said it would be 15 minutes . I got there in that time frame, and the food was ready. The fried rice was the best I've had in a while. I also got the fried calamari, which, in my opinion, was not so great. It was too greasy for me and did not like the texture of it. They do give you a lot, though. I would go back it's worth a try.“

“I enjoyed eating here. I’m surprise the food flavor is on the point! The color of the food is good as well.
Very simple basic buffet dishes but good enough to make my belly full and feeling comfort.
If you just want to stop by for a cozy quick buffet, this is a good place. Mostly meat protein, egg roll, lo mein noddle , fruits and some sushi and ice cream.
Lunch is 11.99 , good parking space.“

“Best Japanese restaurant in Columbia. Food and service was AMAZING! All of the staff clearly works so hard. Our server had multiple large tables and still kept up the amazing service although extremely busy. The atmosphere is great and food was even better. No complaints. 10/10“
