They dont have any variety of liquor, EXTREMELY overpriced for cheap alcohol
Angelica is simply amazing! She was the bartender at the bar in the lobby of Wild Dunes Resort (Sweetwater) on May 19, 2024 and she kept the bar open a few hour late to ensure the wedding party and guests had the time of their lives. I just had dinner and drinks a few days ago and ran into Angelica again. She provides first class service with a smile and she makes everything better!

It took about 15 minutes + for the waiter to come and take our drink order and for the drinks (2 - one being for my 11 year old). We didn't get our app for 30-45 min...and in the mean time someone offered us some potato chips due to the wait. Our waiter hardly dropped by to check on us. Food arrived and was completely mediocre. We watched a couple sit down only to be ignored and give up and leave. Don't waste your time or money here. I waited tables through college and my early 20's. This place was the first time I've tipped 10%. We ate at coastal pizza the night before and service, food and $$$ was 10x better.

Very disappointed. For our party of 6, we ordered the $216 seafood tower, two “specials” of scallops, and an order of grilled oysters.
Where to begin. The seafood tower was VERY overpriced. The oysters weren’t fresh- they had a fishy taste. The crab legs had no sweetness whatsoever- it seems that the chef slathered on a huge amount of mayonnaise to hide the fact that the crab legs weren’t fresh.
The two scallop specials we ordered were $39 a piece, they were flavorful but the portions were TINY. Each plate has 3 oysters.
The grilled oysters were just ‘meh’. They weren’t as bad as the other food was outright, but they just weren’t memorable in any way. No memorable flavor to them.
The pricing on the menu was also deceptive- the menu listed the seafood tower as $108. Our server then told us that was a “typo” and it was actually $180. Which was fine with us, mistakes happen. But after ten minutes, our server came back to tell us the price was now $216. How does a menu item suddenly double in price? Our waitress told us she had been working there for over a year, and that she was also unaware of any price changes.
We ended up paying a total of $550, and we all walked away FAMISHED.
The only positive of the experience was that we had a very attentive server, Halie and her trainee.

Came with my wife for dinner and we were impressed. Restaurant is tapas style so if you’re extremely hungry you may leave disappointed. We had the oyster shooters with some Canadian and Maine oysters and the Mezze platter. The food was very good. The Canadian oyster might be one of the bets we have had. The Maine oyster were a bit more on the fishy side. The Mezze came with Wagyu tartar which was incredible. Our drinks did take a while to get to us which might the only minor complaint. Overall the food was delicious.

We started with the Shuck and Savor experience. Chef Thalita Smith and Manager Sydney were amazing in explaining the oysters, the procurement process, and the wine in pairing with them. We learned so much! Then we went for dinner and were amazed again! Manager Dana was able to seat us right away. She was so attentive! Chef Thalita is so good at what she does! She was so personable and knowledgeable. Our server, Nick was so on top of things and his demeanor made our whole experience amazing! By the way - his chocolate milk made our son smile! The oysters were amazing, the Asian salad was so refreshing, the kids chicken strips for our son were huge, and the dessert-ASTOUNDING!Thank you! We can’t wait to visit again!
Overall, pleased with the late dinner. Nick was friendly, kind, and very courteous. The food runners didn’t really know which table food was supposed to go to — a concern given I told them about a food allergy. I ordered the shrimp app gluten free, which ultimately meant no bread substitute. ? Still, it was really delicious, flavorful, with just the right kick! I also ordered the Brussels sprouts, which were good (but surprisingly a bit more dry than I expected?) Cocktail was strong and enjoyable.
Dietary restrictions: Chef was knowledgeable about gluten free cooking, sending the server to check if I was celiac. Chef prepared the food safely. Thanks!

Let's start with the good. Nicks Service was friendly. The atmosphere is pretty. Thats it for the good. The food was absolutely terrible. They claim sharable plates...theyre not. They have the audacity to charge $21 for a drink and then an extra $2 for it being on the rocks. The tomahawk came out well done and bland, we sent back the grouper amd the pasta. Save your money and tastebuds and go literally anywhere else.

This restaurant should be your last choice when eating in Wild Dunes. Overpriced for mediocre food that does not match their menu description. We ordered some appetizers and dinner for a party of 5. We ordered the Pasta with sauage and brocollini. We got crumbles of sausage and frozen broccoli with very little sauce of any type. The fish was edible but mothjng to write home about. We ordered a few of the appetizers, crudo- too sweet and a bit fishy; octopus hushpuppies, which could have been regular hushpuppies as there was no flavor of octopus, Just a disappointing meal all around.
