Went in for fresh shrimp and breading. They had seafood from other places that was brought in and plenty of fresh shrimp. I bought peeld /deveined and shell on. Both were great quality.
I was in town for a group trip and was tasked with cooking for 11. Simmons Seafood made that an easy task! They gave us a great recommendation of the fish for our ceviche (turned out great) and the frozen crab cakes were so good. The key lime pie and pimento cheese dip were also crowd pleasers. I will absolutely be back if I’m in the area again.
I just heard about Simmons Seafood about a month ago from a friend and man this place is AWESOME! Simmons has an amazing selection of seafood and everything is super fresh! I bought a bushel of Virginia select oysters and they were some of the best oysters I've ever eaten.
The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable! Hats off to Will and Kate for being such professionals.
Simmons is the only place I will buy seafood from now on!
