“This review is overdue. We visited Mex 1 Coastal Cantina this past October and stopped by for dinner. I ordered the two taco platter and chose Bangin' Shrimp and Baja Fish tacos. It was absolutely amazing. Our server was fantastic - I wish I could remember her name. Just a wonderful dinner. A few days later we were in the area again and went for lunch. We were greeted by the same server and both ordered the same entrees we had previously - they were both equally as good as a few nights ago and the server was just as fantastic. We will be visiting in about a month for a 3 week stay in the area and you can bet Mex 1 will be a frequent stop.“

“A great mix of so many things! The burgers and sandwiches were so tasty, but then came the sushi which was mouthwatering! Great food and service, price point was very reasonable! And for sure, get the nachos, they were amazing. Will definitely be back.“

Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday evenings I believe she said she is behind the bar. Ha! She even consoled me as my team was struggling to win an ACC basketball game! Great person! “The food was amazing but it better have been for the price. The sauce on top of the cheese quesodillas was the kind you lick off your fingers. The staff was friendly but the prices were a little higher than my normal. A decent sized portion though.Vegetarian options: I got a cheese quesodilla and enjoyed it.“
“What a great place. Girls weekend and this place was perfect. Great food. High energy. Incredible service and any place that has Marie Sharps as the house hot sauce is a win for me. Location was a party town in the middle of a peaceful oasis. Perfect.“
