Great food, drinks and view. We even saw dolphins at dinner. Food is always great and lots of choices.

We had an amazing experience at Boathouse. Our food was delicious, the views were spectacular, and our server Decker was simply the best! He greeted us upon arrival, got to know us through dinner, and took such good care of us. Highly recommend!

One of our go-to spots to take all our visitors. Have never had a bad meal and you cannot beat the sunset views. Grab a drink at the upper bar while you wait for your table and watch out for dolphins.

Good food, good atmosphere, make a reservation and avoid any wait. Valet parking, so tip what you can. A good choice for dinner.

The Boathouse has become.a family favorite for our family. A must each trip we make annually to IOP. The service is good. The food is wonderful (that shrimp and grits is next level) and the setting is what sets an evening dinner apart. A reservation at golden hour will restore your faith in a creator God and have you coming back for more. Just stunning. The sunset adjacent to the Ravenel Bridge in the distance is one of the most iconic backdrops one can experience in the low country. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed a wonderful Father’s Day brunch today. We were seated right away with our reservation time. Our server was exceptionally good. Every dish we ordered was perfection. My favorite was the Maryland crab cakes, my granddaughter enjoyed her first lobster meal, my daughter had a delicious top grade steak and grits , and our honored Dad / granddad had the seafood trio. The valet service was very appreciated. We will be coming back soon!

If you’re on the fence about whether to dine here-I’m a design consultant small business owner & I NEVER leave reviews but I wanted to make SURE people knew that this restaurant is worth it! From the complimentary, quick valet service, to the rooftop bar quick appetizers w/ an amazing view, to the most polite & attentive hostesses, bartender, & our server P.J. (whom was very attentive, polite, helpful, quick, & made sure we felt welcomed-thank you!), to the most amazing hush puppies, fried green tomatoes, crab cakes, collard greens, asparagus, & blackened salmon-the food hubby & I enjoyed was a DELIGHT. The chef on the night of 6/19/26-you NAILED IT on the food’s perfection tonight! 👌🏾 And if you’re debating about dessert-don’t! That key lime pie slice was definitely the BEST key lime pie in the south! We’ll be back to this restaurant!

The Boathouse had a great variety of food options with stunning views. Service was impeccable. Our waiter had great recommendations. The Spicy Shrimp and grits were creamy with a little bit of kick from the sausage. Th Gouda Mac and cheese was perfectly smoked and the fried flounder was crispy.

We had an amazing time! Even though it was extremely rainy while we were there, the staff was amazing and the food was delicious.

Strongly recommend the swordfish from the Fish Board and an espresso martini!

We went to have dinner and they were very snobby. And the air conditioner wasn't working. Just an overall very uncomfortable atmosphere. We ended up going somewhere else. Guess you have to be old and stuck up to eat there.
