Our family loves going by the Outpost for a fun weekend lunch outing. The shop has the cutest items and clothes for sale, my kids love the ice cream, and we like to grab a yummy iced latte for an afternoon pick me up! Our fav menu items are the fried flounder sandwich and local fish tacos - so good! Also, everyone that works there is so kind and helpful!

We got the Chicken Avocado Club and the Beach Club, with potato salad and fries. The avocado club was very good but heavy on the lemon if that’s not your thing. The fries are crispy and delicious, well seasoned. The potato salad was not my favorite, it was super heavy on the mayonnaise and nothing else. The coffee was very good and fresh. Plenty of outdoor seating right on the marina. You pay to park here though so be prepared for that :) the girls were friendly but hadn’t tried much on the menu so couldn’t make suggestions. Spent about $50 for two sandwiches and 2 coffees.

I’ve been coming here for over 10 years for the best philly cheesesteak in the area but new management has changed everything. I thought I could at least count on the perfectly cooked fries but they removed the old bay and don’t even salt them. The charm is gone as well since most local merchandise has been removed. It’s just not worth it anymore when the food has become bland and prices have risen by almost 50%.
The staff at the outpost IOP Marina has always made me feel like I’ve been coming there for years , the food & customer service is top-notch. The outdoor seating is five stars.! What a great place to kick back and relax for lunch

Our first ever breakfast here in IOP. Very nice gift shop, very nice personnel and a great breakfast sandwich! And a great view/outdoor eating area!

Beautiful views of the marina, delicious food, and a great gift shop! The staff is extremely friendly and they were able to accommodate our food allergies as well! We came here multiple times during our trip. Highly recommend!

I really miss the old dockside deli. This was the first time going to the outpost, it definitely has a beach vibe, however the food seems a little overpriced.
I got the chicken tenders with fries, the fries were very good and they give you a good amount.
5 chicken tenders isn’t bad, but those were some VERY small tenders for the price that I paid. It was $23 just for the tenders and fries with a Fanta orange….. it’s a convenient location but the price is the drawback for sure

One of my favorite hidden gems before the rebranding. It’s a bit overpriced, but still has a casual atmosphere. Lunch is fine , but I like the breakfast menu better.
Best Fish Tacos in town! I’ve ate a lot of fish tacos during my time in LA, SD, and Baja. If you’re looking for that SoCal fresh fish taco with a squeeze of lime, you have to come here!
Rest of the food was great but the fish tacos stood out the most for someone who misses that flavor.
The inside shop is really nice and thoughtfully curated with local brand and items.
Outside seating is great and it’s a very kid friendly environment!

The Outpost is only a year old but the new owners are doing a wonderful job. We ordered the fish tacos and monte cristo sandwich for lunch and they were both excellent. The shop is also very nice with snacks, essentials, and clothing for kids and adults. We will definitely be back.
