Nice place to grab a quick bite right down the road from the Beach. Menu options were outstanding and appetizers were delicious . I highly recommend before settling down on the beach for some good Seafood .
The Refuge has quickly become one of our absolute favorite restaurants in the Lowcountry—and for good reason. Super cute, clean, modern restaurant. Great service & food. Espresso martini was delicious! We ordered the She Crab Soup, fresh Lobster, crab cake (HUGE), and grilled shrimp (my son said it was his favorite he's ever had), Tuna TarTar with crispy wontons.. only complaint was the wontons were not crispy- more chewy, so we just ate the tuna without.
