I would give this golf course zero stars if I could. This course is always in terrible condition and for what you pay it’s highway robbery. The greens keeper should be ashamed. The tee boxes are always covered in sand. The greens have dead spots everywhere and weeds around the edge. There’s ground under repair on every other hole and around the greens. If you’re in Mount Pleasant, go play Dunes West, save $60 and play a pristine course. Do not waste your money or time in this atrocious golf course.

Really awesome course!

Greens and overall course maintenance is pathetic for the price you pay. Had to be the slowest pace I’ve ever played because they just stack tee times. Cart girl was one of the most unpleasant people I’ve had the displeasure of meeting. The range is included but make sure you get there at least an hour before to take the mile long golf cart ride over to the range on the other course and they don’t tell you that part. Overall, you’ll have a better time at the Charleston municipal a you will pay and fraction of the price. What a terribly managed place. Truly pathetic.

My husband and I were visiting Charleston for a long weekend, and wanted to see the beautiful courses in SC. We called Wild Dunes Harbor Course and connected with John from the pro shop who was SO kind + helpful -- he told us to come at any time and he would help us once we arrived. He answered all our questions, got us a cart, rental clubs + explained the course to us. We were so thankful for his great customer service as he made our golf outing unforgettable! The course itself was beautiful, great views of both the water and greens, and even a visit from a few gators at one hole. We hope to come back soon!

Course needs to see a mower - greens, fairways, and tee boxes were long. Green fees are high for what this course is.

I played yesterday with 3 friends and had a great time. Certainly the course showed signs of wear but I thought it was minor. I had read a review calling it a goat course

but I didn't think that was fair at all!! Cool layout and we will definitely play it again!

When the starter tells you right off the 1st tee box that they will be shutting down the course at the end of the season and completely redoing it.., you know this might not be the best situation… needless to say unfortunately that first impression was spot on…

Cons
- Cart path is terribly deteriorated
- Bunkers have not been maintained; they were hard and eroded
- greens have been shrunk on many holes and it is clear the reason is because leveling is required so some greens are postage stamp size

Pros
- grass was well maintained
- some small sections of the cart path are brand new (and beautiful)
- most tee boxes were in “average” shape
- for a shorter course it was very challenging due to extremely narrow fairways and greens

For two of us to play, including rentals, and cart fees…it was over $500; this was, at best a $150 course. So the value provided for the cost was terrible. I am sure that part of this discrepancy is they are pocketing all this money for this major renovation but that shouldn’t be on the shoulders if their guests.

Because if some of the conditions in comparison to the cost; was a terribly disappointing experience. I would highly recommend you consider a different course until, at minimum, the major renovation is completed that starts end of 2024- early 2025.

Not what I expected, heard great things about this resort but it fell a little short of expectations. For me the greens were worse than 2 other Muni’s we played whilst visiting the area. The course is tight and for the most part in good condition but with the proximity to the marsh and intercoastal the greens are just really soft and furry

Golf course was not in pristine condition as starter stated. I was also charged110 dollars for 6 seltzers that is a total rip off are you kidding me and she took a tip before she told me what i was charged. I will never go back and i will let everyone know what happened.

Should be ashamed to charge $81. Terrible greens. Heard they were closing down to redo the course...
LONG OVERDUE!

Should be embarrassed by the condition of the greens, bunkers and cart paths- t boxes and fairways were decent.it was like a decent municipal course but $90 to play!

Pretty nice course, but beware of the excessive taxes they charge on top of greens fees. The taxes for 3 players came to $46.44,. I didn't notice how high the taxes were until after we played, but they charge 12% tax on the prices posted online. All other courses in the area, including Kiawah, only charge 5% sales tax. I called and inquired about the excessive taxes and was told that the other 7% tax is "an admissions tax." Not sure what that means, but I won't be playing here again unless they remove that tax. There are plenty of other great golf courses in the Charleston area that don't tack on ridiculous taxes to already expensive greens fees.

The course was in good condition. The par 5 being made into a 90 yard par 3 really puts a bad taste in your mouth for the money and since it is already a very short course. Very very tight fairways with only a few driver holes. Tiny greens on many holes. Overall, this is a very hard course to rate. Some cool holes but I prefer being able to use all the clubs in my bag. Solid overall but it's not as enjoyable as many of the other courses in the area for the $140 ish we payed.

An absolute goat track. A bunch of construction being done on the course and zero notification was given before the round. $140 green fees for this course is a joke. One par 5 was converted to a 100 yard par 3. There was SEVEN par 3’s. Don’t waste your money on this course. One of the worst I have ever played.

Group booking was made for 16 guys in advance. Course was reduced to a par 68 due to maintenance that was ongoing for the bridges. Naturally, this was not made open until we arrived on the 1st tee. One par 5 was reduced to a 98 yd par 3 from a temporary tee box. Greens were iffy at best. No deduction was made as they had a full booking this day
Waste of money with a bad attitude. Never again!
