Always my favorite lunch spot at KI! For this visit we had Cafe Eugenia make a beautiful lemon raspberry cake for my dad's 80th birthday party- it was wonderful and a huge hit at the party. Came in for lunch. Found it relatively expensive. When ordering an iced tea, the server asked if my wife would like a splash of lemonade. Little did we know that would raise the exorbitant price of a tea from $4.50 to $6.00. Sandwiches were good, especially the charcuterie sandwich. When you decide on a tip at the register, realize that you will be asked to bus your own table.
We really enjoyed this cafe in the Freshfields area of Kiawah Island. Sandwiches are simple (and not inexpensive). But food tastes great and is something slightly different from the norm. All of the staff are friendly and helpful. They have some seating outside and it overlooks the pond area. There is parallel parking out front and a parking lot on the side. They also offer catering!

Best espresso I’ve had in a long time. Nice selection of sweets and brunch options. The scone in particular, was very good. Great atmosphere and friendly service, as well. It’s going to be my go to coffee spot for this vacation.

Nice breakfast place in Freshfields. The very fresh and tasty lunch special caprese sandwich was the biggest winner. Egg and sandwich was very good. We tried two different varieties of quiche, they were good. We will return.
