Here, honestly, it leaves a lot to be desired. I have been a couple of times and the food is usually good. Only the last time I went, I didn't like the food. I ordered a stuffed potato. The potato was hard and I didn't enjoy it since my dad expected more. Cooked, the tacos were normal but the red sauces were bitter and the green one had no flavor. I also remember that we ate at this place before when they were in their other location and it was much better. I hope they can improve all that since at first it had a better flavor. and the attention is good

This place is our favorite along taco truck row here on Maybank! The folks are friendly. The place is CLEAN. Their veggie tacos are so good! So many taco places make you feel weird or unworthy of a good taco if you're not eating meat, but not LaFogata! They actually put love and care into all of it, even the veggies! Thank you!

Really good food, good price, really sweet lady taking orders and food is ready quickly. Place to eat is tent with several brand new large picnic tables. Sits back off well traveled road so no cars on top of you while you eat. Will definitely go back again

The Pirate Hunter coming to ya with the @AmericanFoodReviewerOfficial Food Review Blog coming to ya for an absolute hidden treasure in John’s Island of Charleston, SC!These tacos and burritos are out of this world! The menu is very simple, but packs a heavy hit to the palate erupting all the deliciousness in your mouth! I’ve personally been 4 times to be 100% these are what they’ve lived up to! They’re super inexpensive, very affordable and the atmosphere is pretty awesome, with plans to get even better!!!The Pollo(chicken), Carne Asada, and Birria tacos are mouthwatering, seasoned perfectly and cooked to perfection!! Highly recommend y’all come check this spot out with your friends & family! There is plenty of parking onsite, a ton of picnic tables and regular tables, and a Bar onsite & dog park are coming soon to the outdoor food venue!!Of all the tacos I’ve had in John’s Island, Susy Mandujano, a 17 year veteran business owner in F&B has truly created a spot for the community that will bring many smiles and memories throughout the area!!!

Really good Mexican food. The food truck is kind of hidden from the road as it's tucked back behind the farmers market, but it's well worth going to. The tacos are super reasonably priced and I've yet to have something bad from there. My personal favorites are the barbacoa and carnitas tacos.

I think a lot of the service issues I am hearing is due to a language barrier. I have been many times as the food is really good but if you have a question or a problem, It is obvious to me that they do not understand exactly what you are saying! Authentic as Authentic can be!

Amazing taco truck by the farmers market! The barbacoa and fish tacos are so delicious. However the carnitas is total worth trying as well. This is a separate restaurant from the other la fogata restaurants that are a chain in South Carolina.Homemade tortillas!Delicious meats!Great Aqua of the day!Eat here!!!!!

Didn’t taste it, so this might be great food. The service was the worst that I have ever experienced. We waited 20 minutes for 1 bean and cheese burrito that was prepared incorrectly, then another 20 minutes before asking why a bean and cheese (all precooked) was taking so long to redo. We were told that the redo was put in the back of the cue. And then the worker was super nasty arguing with me that the redo was not prioritized because it not done wrong the first time (I had offered to open it all up to show her, but she declined). Not just bad service, they were mean and argumentative. My little girl had to leave with no lunch since the lobster truck was fast and everyone else had finished eating.

The food truck hands down the best tacos I have had in Charleston since white duck closed. I can’t hype them up more, affordable & delicious 🌮😍
