We went two days in a row it was absolutely delicious! Best grits I’ve ever had and the eggs had a deep orange yolk and were so tasty and high quality. The staff were all lovely!

Fun, friendly staff! They took really good care of our large party of 30 and accommodated dietary restrictions. The food was fresh and hot! Loved the buffalo chicken wrap and the white chocolate macadamia cookies were PERFECT!!

This is such an amazing place to have breakfast or a late lunch! It’s a great place for families.The owner and staff are absolutely amazing! Some of the nicest service I’ve ever had. The coffee and pastries are a must try! ESPECIALLY THE REESES COOKIE❤️❤️❤️ Reasonable prices and amazing atmosphere!

We had the best time at Periwinkle Kitchen! Food is amazing and the hospitality even better! We visited here a few times during our stay on John's Island. Every single dish is so yummy! My husband especially loved the fried chicken. There is so much flavor in all of their dishes. The owner, Kim, is very welcoming and it was fun getting to know her and the rest of the staff. Mike, the Assistant GM, was great too. Everyone at the cafe made our visit amazing. We took our time and ate at the bar counter and it was very fun to just relax and have good southern food. Highly recommend and we will be back next time we visit the area! Thank you!

1/10…..ordered breakfast for 2 kids and 2 adults. Paid 49.75 for 4 people, no big deal especially on vacation. 2 kids got the kids waffle plate and I got the chicken and waffles. 10 and some change for kids, 16.95 for chicken and waffles. Kids were a half waffle, mine was the exact same with half a chicken breast and a cup of honeydew melon each. Wife got the wake up platter. Taste was not the issue, but we all left hungry and had to go back to the condo and eat our leftovers from the night before, before going to the beach…. For FIFTY dollars. Will definitely not return. I don’t posts reviews ever, even if I didn’t have a great experience I’ll usually give it another shot…. But I left pissed, hungry, and feel like we got took.

Absolutely love this new cafe!!. It is in such a great location on the way to Kiawah Island. To Go options, smoothies, brunch options, coffee, alcohol, picnic options, indoor sit down dining, and outdoor air down dining options. Atmosphere is super fresh, clean, everyone is so friendly and kind. We were a bit nervous stopping at a new place but absolutely fell in love. We also have two little boys and we did not feel uncomfortable or a nuisance. We often times run into that feeling when eating but that was not the case. They also had a refrigerator full of all local business products from local alcohol to local bagels to local ice cream. We will be definitely stopping by next time we go to Kiawah and also we will be bringing all of our local friends. Such a nice warm welcome change when it comes to places to eat in the Kiawah area.
Amazing food, adorable space and great local goods... anytime I'm in the area, this is my go to for quality eats!

First time visiting today. Breakfast was delicious and served quickly. The employees are so kind and made helpful recommendations. Try the muffins, all are delicious, especially the French toast Biscoff muffin. The cafe itself is super clean and cute. Will definitely be back!
