Based on the reviews, we were looking forward to great food. Alas, we were sadly disappointed. We ordered she-crab soup, fried shrimp platter w/fries and a salad with blackened shrimp added - to go, but waited for the order. The blackened shrimp were ok but the salad mix used had brown lettuce and it tasted old. The soup was not edible as it was way too salty and not a typical SC she-crab soup. The fried shrimp and French fries were old too. Fries really need to be hot and the shrimp fried to order. Had we sat in the restaurant, maybe our experience would have been better. Or perhaps they’re best with breakfast?

The absolute best housemade mozzarella sticks!! French dip with Amoroso roll hit the spot. Will be going there to have to some breakfast. ❤️❤️❤️

Spent the week at Kiawah and my daughter suggested this place for breakfast. Excellent food, coffee and service. Our server was engaging and efficient and turns out his parents live about a mile from us in Charlotte. Small world. Would definitely recommend.

First time, and plans to return. The coffee is what I judge the establishment after... Then the food. Haha Good,strong, dark roast coffee. Anything else, go see for yourself. See ya there!:

We stopped in for a quick lunch on our way out of town and it was delicious! My husband had the chicken and waffles sandwich and it lived up to it's reputation. I had the salmon BLT with sweet potato fries and it was excellent, as were the fries! Service was quick too - in and out in under 30 minutes.

Loved this little spot. Looks a little unassuming from the outside, but it's updated and welcoming on the inside. Tried the breakfast burger with the breakfast potatoes. The burger was great with both a beef smashburger as well as a sausage patty. But the breakfast potatoes were some of the best I've ever had. Great seasonings along with the peppers and onions. Highly recommend!

My sister and I were on our way to Seabrook Island and decided to stop for lunch at the Periwinkle Kitchen based on the recommendation of my husband. It’s a quaint little cafe tucked away on the main road. The decor was ocean themed and tasteful. The service was wonderful, the food delicious, and the portions appropriate. Afterwords, my sister and I decided to share one of their homemade dessert to take with us. We got to the car and decided it looked too good not to at least try it. Less than 10 minutes later, we had devoured it. It was too good to stop eating. Fabulous experience all around.

Amazing breakfast menu- everything is well prepared. Only went for breakfast (every day of our trip) but lunch also looked good.
