“Our bartender Dave was absolutely fantastic. We were visiting Charleston for the weekend for Valentine’s Day and heard through word of mouth how good The Peacock was. We arrived and Dave immediately stood out — warm, funny, & attentive, to the point where we left for dinner and came back for a night cap. The Peacock is lucky to have him.“

“Some of the best food! Great fries! Some of the best and cheapest drinks in the city. The staff are such amazing people. We were there one night for trivia and another night for dirty Santa! The experience both times was so fun and entertaining. I'm so glad we found this place on our trip! Hope they stay sweet and fun!“

“Colin was an amazing hostess with the mostest!!!! We came as a group and he made sure to take care of every one of us!! He's so personal and funny!!! We really and truly enjoyed having him as our waiter!! He made us feel so welcomed!!! Even after the tab was paid and we stayed a little while longer he still came and checked on us and even converse with a few of us. He was truly a delight!!! “I went here with my cousin while visiting Charleston for the first time. We could not have picked a better place to eat. HIGHLY recommend the dumpwings and the pretzel appetizer as well as the Bubba burger. Incredible amazing food coupled with amazing service. Made us feel right at home. If I visit charleston again, I will be coming back.“

“My husband and I came in for a short weekend trip from Savannah, GA. We stumbled upon Mac's Place on our second day. The bartenders (Zach and Brian) were/are awesome! We had great conversation with some of the locals. We enjoyed ourselves so much we came back the next day! We will definitely be back to visit. Cheers!“
