“I’m from Chicago. So I’m a bit of a food snob. And I can’t say enough good things about this place. The food was outstanding!!! The birria taco was everyone’s favorite but I also had the Baja fish and the grilled shrimp tacos. All of them were delish. And then the true showstopper was the hibiscus margarita that had a cinnamon, salt, and fennel rim. I subbed mezcal for tequila on the drink and it was perfection. Eat here!!!“

“I held off eating here because of the reviews. I’m a Texas gal living here in Charleston and I’m particular about my Tacos! Had some friends stay at an Airbnb across the street and it was convenient so I finally went. I’ve now been twice in less than a week. Everything is so fresh. Well flavored. Delicious. Cocktails are lovely. Staff was helpful and attentive both times. I also learned that some of the bad reviews here are dishonest. I’m here to say- ignore them and go. “What an excellent place! We were in town for a big conference and unexpectedly decided to gather a smaller group of us (21!) for a dinner... only it was really hard to find a place to accommodate us all. Fuel came to the rescue. They were so kind and responsive, and they were able to put together a table for us all together on their outside patio. The food was AMAZING. (One in our crowd said it was her best meal in Charleston so far!) The service was outstanding. We loved our server, Paige. And the ambience was great. I highly recommend this restaurant!“

“My kids and I go at least 3 times a month! Such good food!!! Their food is like eating back in Mexico at your abuelitas house. So yummy!
Not to mention the service! They always take care of their guests and check in multiple times! Sandra, Mari, and the dude behind the bar have the best service!! Not to mention that the lady that does the cooking gets right to it, serves everything nice and hot, and gives you plenty on your plate!
