The girl working today was awesome! I was deciding between two sandwiches-she said she personally made the chicken salad and that it was a good batch. Sold. She presented the sandwich and was excited about the beautiful thick red tomato that has finally arrived. I was too! Just fun to see someone enjoy their job and CARE about all aspects of the product. Wish I had gotten her name. You make a Great chicken salad btw.

While visiting from out of town, my friend took me here and I got the Cuban.... there was like meat on the sanwhich and 'both' pickles were on the same half of the sandwhich. With some froze and another drink, the tab was like fifty bucks. As refrenced by another review, the service charge is a JOKE, they are rude and don't even try to bother and be helpful.

We always stop by The Co-op for lunch whenever we are on Kiawah Island! Located in FreshFields Village. Great super fresh sandwiches made with top quality ingredients, like sprouts, turkey, house made egg salad on fresh baked wheat bread. They have a variety of freshly made frozen rose in dispensers ready to go. They also have Breakfast in the morning thru 11am. Indoor and outdoor seating. Very pleasant atmosphere and the staff has always been professional, courteous and knowledgeable. Give it a try!

We stay on Kiawah Island nearly every year in late August and early September. We like to ride our bikes to Freahfield Village for breakfast and discovered the Co-Op. Excellent breakfast sandwiches. Best in the Village. The sandwich menu looks very good. We will be back for sandwiches to go for a beach dinner!

We stay on Kiawah Island nearly every year. This year we have discovered The Co-Op. Fantastic breakfast sandwiches. Solid service. Less expensive than some options nearby. The sandwich menu looks good and we plan to come back to get sandwiches for a beach dinner.Recommended!

Cute little sandwich spot in-between Seabrook and Kiawah Island! My husband and I stopped in for a quick lunch to-go on a Saturday around 11. We decided to split a Chicken Salad Sandwich, which was ready about five minutes after we placed our order. I love how they package up their takeout orders -- with the sandwich halved and facing upwards, so your bread doesn't get soggy. Our sandwich was awesome! The bread was toasted nicely, the lettuce and tomato were crisp and fresh, and the chicken salad itself was creamy and flavorful. This would be the perfect spot to stop by before a beach trip. Co-Op is also apparently known for its frosé, although we didn't partake in any on this visit. They did have several fun-looking options spinning in slushee makers behind the counter. The prices were a little much (almost $13 for a regular-sized sandwich) but you'll get that anywhere in Freshfields Village. We'd definitely return for this tasty lunch option the next time we're in the area!

Stopped into The Coop on a whim and really enjoyed our lunch. We both had the California Turkey which were great. We enjoyed a frose which was super strong but worth the $12. The only suggestion I would have it to wipe the tables down more often and clean up the bathroom. We will definitely be back to enjoy another bite !

Best club sandwich I have EVER had and it's a sandwich I eat very often. They have a great selection of boutique seltzers and yummy drinks. Service and staff are super friendly and welcoming. Great spot and they have outdoor seating for loud kids.

Food is good. Love that the tuna sandwich has a golden seed mustard on it. My favorite so far! It’s frosé on Kiawah/Seabrook - what’s not to love?!?! Certainly caters to a more youthful crowd which I love in this area specifically and it’s so funny seeing some of the comments on this places that clearly focus on that. Some folks are just really appalled that a curse word can be written down on a sticker and somehow judge a whole restaurant by that. The pricing really doesn’t make any since and it’s always so expensive but again - it’s a vacation spot so it’s totally expected.

Come to the Co-op for the frose flights! The peach is my favorite, but the strawberry and sea breeze are also good choices. The caprese panini is tasty. They offer online ordering for pickup, and there is parking available in Freshfields Village.

The girls behind the counter seemed very annoyed to be working there. Food is ok. Drinks overpriced.
