Their Swansea location is always the best for pizza and subs.
I just want to give Jasmine at the Swansea location a shout out . That poor girl was handling the whole dining room by herself with no help. I felt so bad for her. Papa Roni's Pizzeria & Grill in Johnston, SC, is known for serving some of the best pizza in the area. Customers often praise the delicious and consistently good pizza, especially the white garlic pizza and cheese and pepperoni varieties. The restaurant offers generous portions, including pepperoni rolls and cinna stix, and the waffle fries are unexpectedly popular. The staff are friendly and accommodating, with the owner being particularly nice and quick to resolve any issues, such as a wrong order. Service is generally appreciated, though it can be busy, especially on Sundays when more staff would help reduce wait times. The restaurant has a casual, serve-yourself seating setup and uses paper plates and plastic ware, keeping it inexpensive and informal. While the food is mostly enjoyed, some customers have experienced inconsistencies, such as undercooked pizza or missing ingredients in salads, and some feel the place could be more family-friendly by providing high chairs. Overall, Papa Roni's is a welcoming spot with tasty pizza and good service, making it a favorite for locals, despite minor imperfections.
