We were driving through on our way home from Bryson City yesterday. I literally just said, pull in there, I'm hungry. We'd never been before. Service was a little weird. We had to ask for napkins and silverware, we received one fork to share. The place needed a good cleaning... it seemed they'd had a busy day prior to us popping in and the to-go orders never stopped the whole time we were there. The people were very nice, just tired maybe.
The food was phenomenal. We were both shocked. I mean GOOD. I had the beef souvlaki and he got a calzone. We'll be back.

The food is always top notch. People are willing to make a drive for it. Andy has struggled to get good help though. The dining area is definitely dated and run down.

I got the soulvaki platter. The beef was very tender and good. There was no Tzatziki to go with it. The menu that we had at home (It could have been old) said it came with baked potato, but I got fries. The Greek salad dressing was very good. Service was good. It was take out.

We live in Union and we were trying to find places we never tried. We stumbled on Pete’s and we are sure glad we did. We have been there about 3 times now and it was been very good everytime. The souvlaki is phenomenal. It’s very tender and flavorful. Also has great pizza. Very nice waitresses. Keep up the good work!
