La Tela Pizzeria Reviews
What a waste of time and money.
They advertise orders to go, but only by phone call. And then they turn off their phone before they open so that you can't call and place takeout orders. The place is clearly busy, especially during the summer holidays. Still, that's not an excuse for false advertising and shutting off your phone during your business hours. Dissapointing Experience.
Worth the wait! Get there on time for seating. Great flights and pizza offerings.

La Tela Pizzeria offers fabulous service and delicious food, including their wood-fired pizza and meatball appetizer with great sauce. The restaurant serves wonderful cocktails and provides impeccable service, making guests feel welcome like family. La Tela Pizzeria is a great spot for pizza lovers, and is also kid-friendly.
The restaurant is known for its long wait, but it's for a good reason — the pizza, pasta, and drinks are exceptional. The pizza has a delicious crust, and customers can ask for extra mozzarella cheese if desired. The pasta is made fresh and tastes authentic. Everything is made homemade from scratch, including their bread, which is served hot, fluffy, and delicious—perfect for dipping in olive oil with salt, pepper, parmesan, and red pepper flakes. The restaurant also offers a good wine selection and delicious chicken Parmesan.
Customers highly recommend the wood-fired pizza, salads, and meatballs at La Tela Pizzeria. The bread and pizza are favorites, and some mention trying the fig pizza, which is a perfect blend of sweet and salty. The restaurant is located in a convenient spot on the square, making it easy to pass the time while waiting for a table. However, the space inside is small and a bit cramped, and the wait can be long, especially on busy nights or during events like concerts. The restaurant does not take reservations, so arriving early or planning to wait is advised. Many visitors find that the wait can be 45 minutes to two hours, but there are plenty of shops and activities nearby to enjoy while waiting.
While the menu has limited gluten-free options—mainly GF pasta and a small salad—guests have found the food very good, though prices are considered high. On busy nights, service remains great despite the crowded and noisy atmosphere. Overall, La Tela Pizzeria is a must-try for those staying in Kiawah or Seabrook, or living locally, especially for their pizzas and pasta.
