About Night Heron Park

Night Heron Park offers a wide range of activities for all ages, featuring a fantastic playground that includes a small area for kids under two years old and a larger section for children aged 2 to 12. The park also boasts a full basketball court, a gagaball court, and outdoor games like Disc Golf. Families can enjoy a great pool with kid-friendly water features and slides, as well as delicious food and drinks from the poolside restaurant in a beautiful setting. The picnic area is well laid out for family gatherings and is close to all the fun activities. The park hosts family activities throughout the week, with a highlight being the festival every summer Wednesday evening, featuring games, entertainment, and $3 ice cream. One highlight is the nature center, which is currently temporary but will soon be replaced with a larger facility. While the park provides many amenities, the only downside is the lack of separate adult and family pools. Visitors have praised the clean and accessible restrooms, and many have noted that the fireworks show during special events, like the 4th of July celebration, is the best they have seen. Overall, Night Heron Park has so much going on that families are eager to return often!
