Keep driving and don’t believe the hype. We were in town for a wedding and our family of 4 were second in the drive through upon opening on Sat, June 27, 2026 The fish and scallops were old. Small popcorn shrimp and soggy fries. And NOTHING…and I do mean NOTHING had seasoning. We trashed everything. It’s a fail.

I tried to place a to go order last Thursday night but couldn't get an answer. It was getting close to time for them to close and I figured they were really busy and weren't able to answer at the moment so I decided to risk it and made the trip from Coward to Lake City. They were winding down from their rush but still pretty busy and by this time it was around 830-840. I went in and was greeted by the sweetest natured, most adorable young lady who assured me that it was not only perfectly fine for me to be there that close to closing but they would be glad to put in my order! She had beautiful long blonde hair, but I didn't get her name! Every single employee of this establishment was a great breath of customer service fresh air which is getting harder and harder to come by these days! Shrimper of Lake City, take note- you have a great team there and while you do, you need to make sure their pay and benefits reflect such! Trust me when I say it's a COLD World out there of jaded servers, cashiers, hosts/hostesses, cooks, etc and when you get lucky enough to get some great help, you need to make it worth their while to stay!! To the team working last weekend - EXCELLENT JOB!! You have a customer for life!!

The food is excellent!!! The employee would not let me add a drink to my meal once I got to the window because the line was too long. I could understand if I ordered another whole meal, but I was just wanting to add a drink.
