Great food and service with live music! The prime rib was amazing!
We had an unexpectedly long wait for service that night, but the food did not disappoint (which I expected it not to). Compliments to the chef!

The food was clearly not prepared by a chef. There were four in our party. All of the vegetables were over cooked. The mashed potatoes were old. The blackened fish was barely seasoned. The salmon was dry. It was probably one of the worst meals Iβve had in the past year. The setting is nice and our server was great.

Worst dining experience I have ever had! Waited a good 15-20 minutes to take drink order( which arrived more than an hour later) Our Dinner order was taken at least a 1/2 hour later and took at least an hour to arrive beyond that. Drinks that were ordered before dinner (2 hours ago) had still had not arrived. My husband ordered a burger medium rare which arrived well done. I ordered tortellini alfredo which was very poorly prepared. The tortellini was over cooked and the Alfredo sauce was thin and tasteless. After waiting this long we were starving so we tried to make the best of the situation. I asked for grated Parmesan cheese hoping to doctor up the Alfredo - shredded cheddar was delivered to the table instead!π€·πΌββοΈ
While waiting to be served I walked up front to let the manager know how long we had been waiting. I wasted my breath. The food didnβt come anymore quickly and no one came to the table to see how our food was once it finally arrived. There were no apologies offered for this horrendous dining experience. Management offered no concessions for this nightmare of an experience.
BTW it should be noted that this appeared to be the only restaurant (other than fast food) in the area. We would have walked out hours earlier if there was another option. We saw at least 3 more tables get up and leave after waiting extended periods of time without being greeted or offered at least a glass of water

Our daughter has lived in Lake City for about 2 years, and, since the number of restaurants is limited with LC being a small town, we still had never eaten at LC Bistro before. We decided to eat there for dinner on Sat, Oct 25. The restaurant was not crowded at all with perhaps 2-3 tables having customers.
The service began nicely, but we were undecided as to what we wanted when our drink order arrived. The waitress, who doubled as the hostess that evening, then disappeared for about 20 minutes or so. We ordered an appetizer and our entrees. The appetizer arrived in a timely manner. The entrees arrived over an hour later. Of the four entrees, only one was warm. The other 3 had evidently been sitting around for a while, and one entree was overcooked.
We learned the following day from someone who worked at LC Bistro, that the cook staff was in the kitchen watching college football. Simply a statement of poor management and poor ownership for hiring the poor managerial staff.

Enjoy eating here every Friday evening. Great service and food! Beautiful decor.
Make sure you try out the Bistro! The food was decently priced for the amount of food and the quality. My leftovers from the night before took the 3.5 hour drive home with me and was finished for dinner! I got the chopped steak, green beans and fries and everything was delicious and cooked exactly as requested. The only minor inconvenience was there were no condiments or salt and pepper on the table, so you had to wait for the server to come back if you needed them to start your meal.
Keep in mind that the menu does not have a lot kid-friendly dining options. The kids' grilled cheese was more like thick toasted bread with half-melted cheese, definitely not a cheesy grilled-cheese that you would expect at home. If I would have noticed before we got back to the room, I would have asked them to remake it or for something else. My daughter took about 3 small bites and was done. I didn't try it because it was hard.
Overall, if we were in Lake City again, it would absolutely be where we dined! I wish it wouldn't have been 50 degrees outside because there is a beautiful patio area that we couldn't take advantage of in the cold. It would be a nice spot for a date!

I tried a chicken breast with spinach, my friend tried a salmon, but unfortunately the both dishes was not good.
Had no salt , or flavor - seasoning.. The experience with the food was bad, BUT.. the employees were very nice, super friendly with us.

First of all let me just say that the food was delicious!! We had the chicken Alfredo and chicken teriyaki. Excellent flavor and the watermelon mohito was the perfect cocktail to compliment our meal.

We had dinner with another couple @ the Lake City Bistro last evening! The Annual Art Fields event had just begun & the restaurant was very crowded! The staff was very courteous & although we anticipated a long wait they seated us sooner than we expected! Itβs hard to adequately describe our wonderful & outstanding server! In the midst of people & demands around her everywhere, she was professional, attentive & courteous! Her name is Christian Lane! With a smiling face & caring nature she made it seem we were in a 5 star restaurant with exclusive attention! She brought our food & drinks rather quickly & meticulously as we ordered it! Thank you Christian & the staff for a fabulous evening! βοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈ
@Lake City Bistro
A culinary clusterβ¦.
My recent visit to Lake City Bistro was a nightmare from start to finish. The waitress treated us like an inconvenience rather than a paying customer, with her cold demeanor and lack of basic courtesy. We asked to sit outside in the courtyard, where there were empty tables, but she said there was no available seatingβ¦only to seat the next party outside in the courtyard. The steak I ordered was overcooked to the point of resembling shoe leather, and to add insult to injury, it came adorned with a generous length of course curly thick black hair that certainly didn't belong to any cow. The salmon, meanwhile, was served cold and hard, as if it had been left out in the freezer for far too long.
Despite my complaints, there were no apologies forthcoming, only indifferent shrugs from a manager who seemed utterly clueless about customer service. No one ever apologized. And the waitress threw my dessert on the table so hard it nearly slid off the plate.
I particularly loved my tart wine served in a tall water glass because they βcouldnβt find anymore wine glassesβ at 5:30 in the afternoon. But the one I finally got was chipped.
For such an overpriced hotel, one would think that the dining experience would be top notch. What a joke. And the Artfields collective was an overall disappointment this year. Iβve never missed a year of this event and this year the art seemed to lack that wow factor. When the best art installment is the talking Billy Bob fishβ¦the proverbial measuring stick has fallen to a desperately low level.

Petition to change the name to Slack City.
