“Today was my first time eating at this place, and the food was completely amazing, but better than that the entire weight staff was probably the best weight staff of any restaurant that I have eaten in since Covid began. They truly enjoy their jobs and they are genuine when they greet you and they are truly glad that you were there. I will definitely be back.“

I am severely allergic to peanuts and anything in the peanut family, and the last time I ate here I almost had to go to the hospital because my reaction was so bad. Restaurant denied changing any oils and say they cook in vegetable oil, and they may, but something has changed because I had an allergic reaction and that has never happened after eating there and we have eaten here for about a year now. Needless to say, I can’t eat here anymore because of this. But when I could, the food was delicious. Cheap? No, it’s about 10-17 a plate.

“This has been a family staple for at least 30 years that I can remember. Over the years I think owners changed but the food has always been great. I did notice they no longer have chicken and dumplings, they should bring them back.

“Staff was friendly and motivated. My order came up within literally about 1 minute and was piping hot. And I should mention this was in the middle of the 6 am breakfast rush. Biscuits were soft, flakey and perfect. The chicken was tender, juicy and perfectly crisped.

Parking: Plenty of parking but if you park close to the building on circle k side, beware drive thru traffic may block you in, especially considering the number of selfish, inconsiderate people in this world today. Bottom line, clean store, friendly staff, awesome food!
