Picked up a bottle of High Cotton Single Barrell today at Gibby's Liquors in Charleston. Took it home and cracked it open to have a taste. Not too dark but definite oakiness comes through with vanilla and dark fruit notes. Great finish. I may have found a new favorite everyday sipper. Went for the tour and had a blast. The tour itself was very interesting and informative. At the end we tasted everything and all the flavors rock. It’s well worth the price, including a t shirt and shot glasses. I got a bottle of the honey whiskey which is unlike any other honey whiskey I’ve ever had. Honestly couldn’t find one thing to criticize! Great tasting liquor, good knowledgable staff and over all a great country feel! Even a free full bottle for your birthday month, Happy Birthday Joe, we chose Low Water Vodka to go into our Bloody Point Mary Mix. Was even able to pick up some local honey from Bee Trail Farm while we were there!
