We know it is Mother’s Day and the establishment would be very busy so we did an online order instead. Expecting it to be a while we were shocked when our $65 order would be ready in 30 mins, but excited because we love the food. My husband arrived at the restaurant at about 11 to pick up our order that was scheduled to be ready at 10:59. He waited until after 12pm for our food. We got sat right about the same time as 2 other groups in the middle of the restaurant. We left after at least 17 mins of nobody even coming and making contact, greeting us, getting drink order or anything. Had more wait staff than I could count walk by us to include what appeared to be two managers. Not sure what restaurant setting that is appropriate in. The 2 other groups we waited on almost immediately.
Excellent service and the food was very good. Seeing that it was our first time they gave us free beignets(sooo goood)!
My wife and I went for brunch and I had Mardi Gras omelette with the city grits.
The omelette had crawfish shrimp and andouille sausage in it with a sort of salsa type dressing on it. I’m pretty sure this is my new favorite food!
My wife had pancakes with bacon and eggs and she said it was good.
The only complaint I have was the coffee.
