Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers

I don't know what's going on with the manager here, but being out of cup lids, ingredients for their shakes, and missing drinks i just ridiculous. Combine that with none of their employees actually know what they have or don't have, charge you, and then tell you they're missing the ingredients is just poor leadership.

I love Freddy’s but the only time we get what we ordered is when we dine in. We just door dashed spent $53 for two bacon cheeseburgers and a kids cheeseburger. My son was missing his apple sauce, my son was missing his tater tots, both me and my husband had mustard on burgers which we didn’t ask for and both Our sodas had no syrup in it. I reported it on door dash before I tried my drinks and could not add the issue with the drink after. I called the store they said they refunded but didn’t tell me how. I don’t see it on my card or my door dash account. What we received was not worth $53

Ordered 2 burger bowls (one with fries) online. Picked the food up 10 minutes after the order was placed (recommended time given on the receipt), but the fries were absolutely ice cold. One of the burger bowls had a long red hair in it that we unfortunately discovered while eating the food, and nobody in my household has red hair. Attempted to call the store 6 times, but nobody would pick up and there is no voicemail option. On top of all of this, the sauces we selected for the bowls were not included in the bag and I was not told that was the case, so I didn’t realize until I was already home. Would not recommend this location under any circumstances, waste of $25.

EDIT: I’ve been offered one “free” combo meal through an email as some sort of lame attempt of compensation. Nobody reached out to me directly in any way. Why on earth do you think I would want to eat there again? Hair. In the food. The fact that a refund wasn’t offered is insulting. Wish there was a rating lower than 1 star.

I love the food but if you are disabled and ordering this food online order from somewhere else.

I don’t know if this location does it to in store customers but online they give you smaller sizes and it has happened more than once.

They gave me three nuggets instead of three strips, and instead of the large curd basket they give me a regular size. And they have done that with the curds twice. I shouldn’t be punished for being disabled and needing to order online.

I ordered from the location in Charleston many times and never had an issue so it is management at this location or a new policy.

Great Freddie's! We were not overly hungry so we just got their chili dog meal. Love the hot shoe string potatoes. AND THEN we shared the regular turtle custard ( with praline pecans) Yes! Service people were very nice!

My client went to order food today and i believe they saw she doesn’t speak clear English she ordered 3 fries one chicken nugget and one burger without the meal she went to window the said your total 74 she double ask about the price it was black man he said yes it correct he was laughing at her then he call other black female she said same thing and start laughing and talking to each other with low voice when she ask about each item the math was not adding up with the 74 total their big mistake to play with her like this she left the food but we already in process to sued them and asking for camera records and being races to her they didn’t know she have cooking chance at youtube and she have thousands of people will be happy to know about her bad experience

I ordered two burgers tonight and paid extra for mushrooms, but neither of my burgers had mushrooms!

Only giving this 5 stars so it can be seen. This was our first time trying this restaurant we ordered 3pieces of chicken tenders and a hamburger with jalapeños we also ordered BBQ and honey mustard. In the photos below I will show what we got. For the hamburgers it did not come with any jalapeños. The chicken tenders literally look like chicken nuggets. I do not recommend coming here.

I have been to this Freddys before and it has always been pretty good, but tonight the restaurant was disgusting. Every table was dirty. Had to clean off our table prior to sitting. The counter where you pick up food had grease and food particles all over it. Drink area wasn't the best, but I know that area is hard to keep clean. Staff was friendly and service was quick, but they were all standing around and cutting up, instead of cleaning the tables and common areas. Didn't see any table cleaning while we were there. Went to the bathroom upon leaving and it was absolutely disgusting. Looked like it hadn't been cleaned in weeks. Most gas station restrooms are better. Floor was sticky and I doubt anyone is bringing a drink in there to drop. Grime everywhere. Poop all over toilet bowl and seat. No paper towels. Wouldn't surprise me if the staff doesn't wash their hands. The food was still good, but now have second thoughts on going back.

If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to visit a restaurant famous for custard, and then they have no custard, Freddy’s has you covered. Apparently being famous for frozen custard doesn’t mean actually having any on hand. Bold strategy.

They were out of my boyfriend’s burger, the prime rib steakburger, and honestly at this point we were waiting for them to tell us they were out of food entirely. The fry cup showed up looking like someone filled it halfway, shrugged, and said “eh, good enough.”

The whole visit felt like a dress rehearsal for a restaurant that wasn’t ready to open yet. If this is the new standard, I guess the only thing they’re serving consistently is disappointment.

They refunded us for 2 of the other meals, but still such a disappointment when they don’t even have the most popular item on the menu, the custard. I get that there was just over an hour of time left until they closed, but you shouldn’t be preventing the sale of your featured items.
