Mom and I went there today because Prices and Shealys are closed on Wednesday. So I decided to do the Google maps restaurant search and found this little gem. It did not disappoint. From the service to the food. Brisket, hash and rice, barbecue, macaroni and cheese, Cole slaw, collard greens and cornbread (We shared a few). Everything was phenomenal. A must try.
Ordered 2 plates. Chicken for both. I got mac and cheese, green beans, and mashed potatos. Got the husband squash casserole, collards, and hash and rice. Everything was fantastic! Very flavorful!
The truth is that there isn’t enough stars for the food! I first ate there in 2010 when I lived in Charleston, SC. I’ve since moved to Indianapolis, but every time I’m in the area, it’s a must stop.
