Mine and the wife's go to hometown cooking. We call them ahead of time and walk in and out the door. Great food & service always ! highly recommend 👌 chicken fried steak with gravy &squash casserole is off the chain!
Old fashioned Meat & 3. The food is consistently good tasting, warm, filling, and fast. Every time. Do you have any idea how hard that is to pull off in the restaurant business?
I went there on the evening of New Year’s Day to get the traditional southern New Year’s Day meal. The people there were incredible. That is their busiest day of the year and they had cars lined up all the way around the building and our waiter have been working all day on New Year’s Day and he was still so good to get along with. Funny, personable, a great waiter. The food is always great at Lizards Thicket. Fried pork chop, Black Eyed Peas, collard greens. Excellent!
